This months box is again another cute packaging, it's very pastel in colours and just reminds me of mermaids and the beach. The scents overall where very soft, and refreshing to smell and when the monthly box arrived it smelt beautiful before I even opened it. So what was in this months box?

- Lemon & Lime Mojito

- Gooseberry & Elderflower
- Plum Blossom
- Raspberry & Salted Caramel
- Pink Prosecco
- Blackcurrant Jam
- Green Apples
- Candy Shop

As you can tell this months box is full of food-like scents (which I love), but the first melt that caught my eye was the Pink Prosecco. The scent is so refreshing and sweet plus the name is cute! The Candy Shop melt is another sweet, sugary and mouth watering melt that has a perfect name (I wish all melts where this haha).

Overall, this months box is another favorite purely down to how sweet, sugary, and food like the melts are. Plus the packaging is a big win, it's very relate-able to summer and I just love it!

Hey guys so my weekend has been crazy! I headed down to Liverpool Friday afternoon and checked into the Hilton Hotel which was pretty straight forward. It cost me £120 to stay just one night (so rather expensive to some hotels I've stayed in previously), one thing I will admit was the staff who checked me in didn't explain how to use our room card. What I mean by that, is when getting into the lift we was pressing the button to get to our floor (4) and nothing was happening, we felt stuck in a lift (lol). You had to put the card in the lift holder then press the floor (learn something new everyday), the same when using the stairs you couldn't get into the floor corridors without using the room card. So I will give the Hilton Hotel, security & privacy was impressive.

That Friday evening, we unpacked and heading into Liverpool one (which was literally like a 2 minute walk from the hotel) where we checked out a few stores. First off, WOW! So many sales, the Zara was HUGE and 95% of the store was on a major sale it was cheap!!! The Victoria Secrets/PINK was also HUGE and they again had some amazing sales on I mean £12 bra's, and £3 knickers?! Oasis, Ted Baker, and all the other shops around had some bargain sales on I felt in love.

We headed for food and cocktails later on where we ate at Las Iguanas and I discovered I got a First Class Hons BSc in my Degree! Then, after a bit of food, drinks & celebration we headed back to the hotel. The room was big, glam, and rather nice we had a view of Liverpool One and yeah!

I went to a party later that night that a friend was having, then, the next morning I got dressed, makup'ed and headed into Liverpool One. Mainly to Superdrug to grab some paracetamol, then to Starbucks for breakfast. We headed back to the hotel and checked out around 11am 'ish (checkout was to be done for 12 midday) and headed to the car to drop our bags off.

So, the British Collective Style event...  We booked our tickets for the Saturday I was rather excited for it this year, first off because it's in Liverpool and not Birmingham which is easier for me to travel to. But second off, because it's in July and not December the weather was much nicer (sunny & warm) and I didn't have to worry about spending too much as Christmas is still far away. The only thing that put me off was that the event was split all over the city, the shopping & show was on the river front at the Eco Arena. Meanwhile, the runways and talks were the other side of the city (they did have buses running but it was a lot of hassle and fuss which isn't my scene).

The tickets where also sold for two separate time slots for the day (morning and afternoon) so I got the afternoon thinking I could spend the whole day shopping. However, the shopping was a major let down. The arena with the shopping halls was small, there wasn't much variety in terms of unusual brands like Birmingham (no GHD, just clothing, makeup and some hairstylists). Plus, everything seemed pretty expensive or full price I mean Victoria Secrets had a tiny selection of products at full price meanwhile Liverpool One has a PINK store which literally had a 75% sale!

Since the variety of shopping was rather dull, we had pretty much walked around all the stalls within 45 minutes - 1 hour. That includes making the odd purchase, and testing out a few products along with checking out all the stalls products. I must admit it was highly disappointing, Olivia Buck from last years Love Island was due to give a speech so I decided to grab a coffee and see what that was all about. Turns out Olivia was running later, nothing new with 'celebrities' I ended up getting bored and 30 minutes later left feeling angry...

We had booked our tickets for the runway fashion event later that evening but after a major disappointing day we ended up just going home. So yes, I ended up skipping the show which I was a bit disappointed by but we had over 3 hours to kill before it started and I felt beyond exhausted. I will honestly say if the lineup looks the same as it did for next year, in terms of celebrities being those who are from TV shows. Or that the brands are ones I can pick up from the high street, and it's not made clear there will be good discount sales I will NOT be attending next year.
This is my third month of being subscribed to Glossy Box, and again they prove to be AMAZING! The July box was fully of products I would use on a day-to-day basis, plus the products are worth way more than the subscription fee.

What's in the July box?
- MONUspa Soothing After Sun Lotion RRP £19.95

- Deliwash Cleansing Conditioner RRP £16.80
- Banana Setting Powder RRP £25
- Spectrum Small Fan A10 RRP £4.99
- Spiral Hairbands RRP £4.99

Out of everything in the box the two products that caught my eye the most was the Spectrum brush and the banana setting powder. The brush is BEAUTIFUL! I mean, it's stunning the colours are gorgeous and the bristles on the brush are so thick and soft (plus don't fall out).

The banana powder is something I've wanted to try for awhile but always put off by the price, the fact Glossy Box has included the full size is mind blowing. The product itself only requires a little amount for a perfect finished look.

As for the hairbands, they're so easy to use and at first I thought they might be damaging to my hair. But shockingly they are not, they're easy to use and rather comfortable to wear. The Elgon conditioner is full size! The product smells amazing and it is super interesting to see how it can be used as a shampoo and conditioner (and you don't need a large amount).

Overall, I'm in love with July's box the products are good high quality without having to pay the high prices. It's a great box to try out products before investing, and you get such a range! I'm super excited to see whats in next months box. X

This is my third month of being subscribed to Glossy Box, and again they prove to be AMAZING! The July box was fully of products I would use...
So River Island have recently had a HUGE 50% sale which seemed to be going on for weeks, when it first hit online I of course had to make a small order. So what did I get?

Blue Embroidered Alannah Relaxed Skinny Jeans 10R RRP £48 paid £24
Black Chain Strap Slouch Bag RRP £33 paid £16.50
White Metallic Panel Tote Bag RRP £47 paid £23.50
Gold Metallic Slim Front Pocket Foldout Purse RRP £8 paid £4
Cream Floral Print Cigarette Trousers size 10 RRP £40 paid £20

Now, first off the trousers I bought both in a size 10R which is my normal size for River Island and I find their jeans are the most comfortable to wear! The cream floral cigarette trousers fit perfect, they are a bit see-through which put me off but never the less they are smart for work-wear or events.

The skinny jeans I was expected a lot from, but I will say I am very disappointed. The site says nothing about them being cropped, or shorter legged and I am normally a size regular in leg length. But when I wore them, I felt like they was a little short, as to just above my ankle? My other River Island jeans aren't like that, they fitted fine otherwise a little uncomfortable but I assume after wearing them a few times they would get more stretched.

The bags! Well the black chain bag I bought purely because of the price and colour, black goes with every outfit right? It's a large bag suitable for long days out where you need to take a lot of stuff, or for university/school use to carry books in. Plus, £16.50 is super cheap especially for River Island! It arrived beautiful, no issues, I love it!

The white metallic tote bag, I had high expectations for I was expecting it to have that 'WOW' factor. But it doesn't... It has a lot of silver on the bag, just as the photos but I felt like it made it look slightly cheap? Maybe that's just me, but the bag style just isn't for me...

And finally the small gold purse, I bought this because of the size as I recently bought a small but expensive Ted Baker bag (discussed on my previous blog post). My current River Island purse is huge in size, but this one is perfect for nights out or just to carry the essentials.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about the purchases I made some I love but some I just feel like they could of been better. Let me know what you got in the River Island sale? Or what you would of liked to have gotten. X
