So while I was visiting Liverpool awhile back I discovered a Lush store and just had to pick up a few things, but first things first this Lush store was much more bigger than my local Chester store. In fact the Liverpool store offers the Lush Spa (which is rare) but has become a new thing I feel I might just have to try out soon..

I ended up picking up two bath bombs and one bath melt, first off the bath melt I've had before now and it's the Razzle Dazzle one. I love this melt, it's small but mighty with a powerful scent of sweet and sugar. As with all Lush bath melts, you pop them into the water at the start of running a bath and it slowly melts away leaving blobs of oil all among the water (which eventually will turn the water into a soft milky colour smelling beautiful).

As for the bath bombs I found Dragons Egg I honestly hadn't seen this product before and was very excited to try it out, I didn't know what to expect as it's a milky white bath bomb but I noticed the speckle of bright colours popping out of some corners. When I placed into the bath it was melting away with bright melt colours pushing out of the bath bomb, I then noticed the water starting to crackle and pop (which was a major surprise I never read up about the product but it does contain popping candy) which is amazing. The smell of this bath bomb was soft, gentle on the skin and very relaxing to lie among, plus for the price I think it's great value of money and would 100% purchase again.

  • RRP £3.75 View the product on Lush's website here.

And finally, I picked up the Twilight bath bomb, I have seen lots of bloggers rate about this product over social media but myself personally never got round to trying it. First off I love the colour of the bath bomb, the cute baby pink is perfect to have sitting around on a desk or for display and the smell is very 'lush' like with lavender and a sugar sweet hint. When the product started to fizz away in the bath water, it started to push a powerful blue colour out from inside which had a sparkle of glitter, it left the water beautiful...

Overall, I loved this small mini purchase the prices weren't too high or over the top like some of the other bath bombs I've tried previously and all would 100% buy again. I would say Dragon's Egg is probably my favorite out of this purchase. X

Lush | Mini Purchase

So while I was visiting Liverpool awhile back I discovered a Lush store and just had to pick up a few things, but first things first this Lu...
Hey everyone, so this months Melt Crowd monthly subscription box from Flamingo Candles is very 'space' like themed. With all the wax melts having a quirky dark blue and pink like wrapping with planets drawn all around the wax name sticker. They called them 'Out Of This World'

So whats inside?
Banana Pancakes - This melt is very sweet, sugary but not overpowering or majorly strong in regards to its scent. In fact, it smells like a warm homemade pancake that's had a fresh banana left on top to melt into the sugary topping.

  • RRP £2 View this product on Flamingo Candle's website here.

Popcorn - 100% I can reassure everyone this is likely to be a favorite of mine, its a very food like sugary sweet scent. That smells just like warm, fresh salted caramel popcorn!

Rhbuarb & Pear - This scent is very different, its much more refreshing and again still food like.  It has a slight sweet rhubarb smell but with a freshly picked pear its just so divine!

  • RRP £2 View this product on Flamingo Candle's website here.

Chai Tea Latte - This melt is rather exotic and unusual, it has a hint of spice but with a twist of sweet sugar and not much like a latte!

Cranberry, Orange & Cinnamon - This melt is very food oriented, packed full of different fresh spices. Its much more cranberry and orange scented with the cinnamon not being all that much noticeable, but its so delicious.

Hot Fudge - I don't want this melt to end! I am in love with this scent, its very sweet and sugary reminding me of a hot chocolate but with a slice of butter fudge.

Strawberry & Geranium - Again, this is somewhat of an unusual scent it wasn't what I was originally expecting. (Which would of been a creamy, strong strawberry scent) In fact, its much more like a sweet rose or turkish delight.

Black Raspberry & Vanilla - The combination of these two melts are a perfect match, its nothing to sweet or sugary and much more refreshing and calm. Its got a soft raspberry scent reminding me of the freshly picked ones you can get with water drops on top that's been left in a room with freshly baked vanilla cake.

Overall, I am in love with every single melt in this months box with the popcorn and hot chocolate fudge being my favorite! X

So last month I ordered for the first time ever off Scent Circus, and I fell in love with the extra mile they went with the packaging, and design aspects of the melts. The started a big top box last month which sold out pretty much instantly! (I remember it was released on a Saturday as I was in work and completely forget until I got home where it had been sold out)

But this month, I have been somewhat stalking there social media (Instagram) and noticed they announced they would be launching another box which would be 'The Magic Of Disney' themed. So I set an alarm, got up at 8am (GMT) and managed to grab a box for myself, along with one of the Halloween melts they had launched as I was extremely eager to try them out.
So what whats inside this months Big Top Box?

Fit For a Princess - This is a light purple melt, its a large circular shape with the face of a princess inside with a slight sprinkle of glitter. Its scent is very powder, soft, fresh and sweet perfume like.

Wish Upon A Star - This is probably my favorite in design aspects of this box, its a large pink star with a smaller purple start built on top with the slogan 'Wish Upon A Star' written inside. As for its scent, its very sweet, sugary and candy like almost reminding me of bubble gum.

I Heart Minnie - This is another super cute designed melt, its in a baby pink shade with the shape of Minnie Mouses face! Its scent is very different and almost reminds me of the small sugary sweets you would get as a child.

Dreaming Of Disney - This is a circular blue melt with a Disney princesses castle printed into it with a sprinkle of glitter. As for the scent, its very fresh and calm reminding me of sweet strawberries and outdoor frosting.

The Forbidden Rose - This melt is shaped in a heart with a light yellow tone with a princess face printed into it. The scent of this is much more floral and reminds me of rose petals.

Treasures Untold - This is a light green circular melt with a mermaid and fish printed into it with a small bit of glitter on the tail. The scent of this melt is much more fresh, and reminds me of lime, melon and a soft freshly washed bedding.

Haunted Pumpkin - Inside this you got two melts, the first being a bright orange pumpkin. Its scent isn't as I would of expected, I originally thought it would be very spiced and orange like but in fact its much more soft, sweet and sugary. Then you get a white ghost melt, if I'm honest I struggled to pick up a divined scent other than a much more cotton like clean, fresh smell.
- This was not part of The Big Top Box and was purchased separately for £1.50

Overall, I am in love with this box purely down to how much detail goes into making the melts look different and unique to the name and scent. Plus, the box was only £7.50 for six wax melts and postage is very affordable on the site. They launch a new box on the 1st of every month, and your not instantly into a subscription (you have to manually go onto the site and order the box the day its launched) which may or may not be a bonus.

Hey everyone, so I recently took a trip to Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet it's a shopping area with lots of various designer stores including clothes, shoes, jewelry, makeup etc. Among my many purchases one shop in particular that caught my eye the most was 'The Cosmetics Company' they had lots of high-end cosmetic, skincare and parfum brands including MAC, Clinqiue, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder and much more. Plus they was ALL cheaper than what they would sell for in the stores themselves, some prices where just a little under retail price but others which a huge saving!

After spending awhile in the shop I managed to pickup a few things, mainly they was all skincare related as I am trying to push for the best possible skincare out there. Although I only purchased three products (I could of bought many more but my bank would of cried!) they came to a somewhat large total of £56 although the RRP would have been £74.50 so I saved a good chunk of money. So what did I buy?

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Gel Cream - £30 (RRP £40)

Bobbi Brown was one of the first high-end cosmetic products I ever used and is an all time favorite, why? Because I personally found the products to be so much more healthier for my skin, it reduced breakouts by a mile and left me feeling confident with my skin. However, over the past few years I haven't always gone back to Bobbi, why? Price is the first hiccup, all the products are in my opinion 'high end' especially when it comes to the price (£30 for a foundation can be a tackle for students). But I used this cream many years ago and I fell in love, although it is very pricey it lasts so long as you need a small amount (just enough to cover the tip of your finger would be fine). Ensuring you apply the product evenly all over your face and neck, it doesn't cause me any dryness, or cause my skin to get oily it just has that perfect balance. After only using it for just under two weeks I can already admit I'm back to wanting to get all Bobbi products, I haven't broke out as much and I feel like applying this helps make a flawless look when it comes to applying foundation.

Clinique Anti Blemish Cleansing Foam - £13.50 (RRP £18)
When I first bought my Clinqiue Sonic System I originally used the anti blemish skincare range, including the sonic head specified for this range! I fell in love with the foam, purely because it's not too strong and powerful on my skin, it leaves you feeling oil free pretty much all day or night. One pump of this does my face perfectly for a full wash (sometimes I splash a little water on my face before applying the foam to rub in), but I do recommend having a good moisturizer after so you don't dry up. But the major bonus I've found using this product for two weeks now is I haven't broken out in blemishes, or 'spots' anymore than normally I would. And if anything its starting to reduce the ones I had, and scaring marks left on my skin! Always remember to apply your cleanser and moisturizer to your neck too.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion Type 3 - £12.50 (RRP 16.50)
Now I'm a huge sucker for Clinique skincare in case you already didn't know, and I had a small mini sample size of this product long ago and fell in love with it. I never got round to buying the full size, mainly down to already owning many other 'toners' or 'lotions' and felt like I needed to use those first. But since purchasing this product, I use it straight after I've cleansed my skin using a piece of cotton wool, and lightly dabbing across my entire face. You instantly can tell it cleans your skin that little bit more with a powerful, strong 'fresh' like scent but it doesn't leave you oily or dry! (Although I instantly moisturize straight after)

Overall, I'm in love with every single purchase I feel like I can finally start to become proud and comfortable with my skin using just these three products. I'm not 100% sure if The Cosmetic Company have lots of stores located around the UK or if its an exclusive to Cheshire Oaks? (I doubt it) but they did have a website (which you can visit here) although they don't seem to stock majority of what they had in the store. X
