So everyone questions powder or liquid foundation? Well this year I've been switching between the two a lot! First of I always assumed powder foundations wouldn't last long, they would give poor coverage and go patchy... Boy was I wrong.

Powder -
This year I've used various powder foundations, my FAVORITE is Bare Minerals just because you need so little for a large amount of coverage and it's colour is a perfect match, plus it looks flawless when you apply... My second favorite is Mally (QVC), I love the colour of this product although it looks a little orange in the tub when applied it goes on great and is perfect if you need a fast makeup look or for everyday use (Especially for university!). Then, finally Laura Geller which I found colour wise is perfect but isn't great for coverage & use this powder foundation as a powder product over the top of my liquid foundations....
I find with powder foundations you are best to use a good strong primer (My favorite is the Laura Geller Spackle with powder foundations)... Because it has a sticky base I find the powder applies instantly and lasts all day!

Liquid -
Now liquid foundations have always been my favorite, purely because you can build up coverage instantly! Over the years I've used various brands but the two I decided to point out was first off Clinique.. I have only recently started using this product but I love it, the coverage is great, it's perfect for my skin and hasn't made me breakout + the only downside is that the colour is sometimes a little too "dark" for me but I always tone it down with a lighter powder... Then the other product I wanted to mention was MAC, now MAC has always been bad for my skin, not sure why but I 100% always breakout and get extremely oily. BUT with that being said MAC colour matching is PERFECT I am super porcelain skin type and this colour is extremely light just perfect and the 1 reason why I am obsessed with it even when it's bad for my skin!

Let me know in the comments what you're thoughts is on these products, and which do you prefer... Liquid or Powder?X
As of recently I have noticed the ends of my hair have become very dry and dull, while shopping in a hair store (Sally's) with my mum who has a card to shop in there. We came across this deep hair mask which you apply to towel-dried hair and leave on the ends (NOT NEAR THE TOP OF YOU'RE HEAD!) for around 5 minutes, before thoroughly rinsing it.

After drying my hair etc.. I found after using this product once it instantly gave my hair a lift, it looked more healthier and shiny. I instantly decided I will be using this product every other week to help repair my damaged hair, of which I noticed after using this product (using normal shampoo first) my hair lasted a lot longer and didn't need washing for a good 4 days later.

Thank you for reading! Let me know in the comments what hair-care products you use!X
So recently I received some freebies in the post which where samples of the Angel Parfum, among that I had a leaflet giving me an amazing offer of getting the 25ml bottle for a discount price. As the deal was something I couldn't miss I decided to take advantage and treat myself to a new bottle from Debenhams.

When I arrived at the counter in store I showed them the coupon sheet I had from the company and the young lady behind the counter was delighted! She handed me the bottle which was packaged in a super cute stylish cardboard "book" style packaging. Before then asking me if I wished to have some extra freebie samples for FREE, of course I said yes and couldn't refuse. Among the samples I got x3 of the Female and Male version of Angel and x1 hand cream of the product!

So I was recently shopping in my local city and had to stop off at the Yankee Candle store, first off I was excited because they have now stocked up Christmas candles! They also had Christmas Calendars and sets etc.. Among the new exciting products they also had Halloween products and new sugary sweet candles!

I decided to pick these two votive's up to see if I like the scent when burning before buying full jar sizes! (I highly recommend you buy/try votive before buying the full jar size in case you don't like it, then you aren't wasting a lot of money)

Vanilla Bourbon - This is a new favorite of mine, the vanilla scent is strong but overpowered by a salty caramel like smell. Its very sugary and sweet and just smells so tasty!

Gingerbread Maple - This votive has a strong scent of Ginger but is twisted with a sugary coat of what reminds me of warm cookies..

Thank you for reading! & Sorry this is sort I've been having lots on in real life, be sure to check back Wednesday for a new post + follow my blog over on the home page!X
So I recently did a little bit of Lush shopping (which you may already know if you follow me on Instagram), among a few of my purchases was the exclusive "The Experimenter" bath bomb which I was super excited to try out! It retails at £3.95 and is a large colourful product, each side / angle has a different colour which I love!

After dipping it into the warm water of my bath it instantly fizzed away, letting out lots of different colours and bursting with small bubbles! Among the rainbow of colours it began to turn the water into a dark dull green / black which once the product completely fizzed out left the water at a dull black with shimmer glitter all around. I personally found the colour left wasn't appealing and could of been a more brighter and colourful colour which suited the bath bomb. When I looked at it I thought the water colour would be left as a yellow (not sure why but that was my thought!). One thing I would note is that this bath bomb did leave the bath glittery once the water was emptied and you will have to rinse out and clean you're bath! So recently Holland & Barrett had a huge offer on in there store which was buy one item & get another for 1p! Within that they was selling the 28 day BOOTEA teatox which includes 28 daytime teabags & 28 night-time teabags for somewhere around £34 (I think) then with the offer you get the exact same amount for 1p!!!

Now teatox's have been highly rated this summer as a healthy natural way to loose weight without having to adjust you're diet or do extreme exercising. Over the summer period I decided to purchase a 14 day box of BOOTEA's teatox set to see if they was any good. Now, first off I want to state I am not a "tea" drinker and when they arrived I couldn't handle the taste so resulted in giving the product to my mum to trail for me! She also agreed (who is a huge tea drinker) and found the daytime teabags where fine, but the night-time ones where just awful! My mum resulted in adding several drops of honey into the night-time drinks just to help with the taste! Although, after using the 14 day set she found she did loose a little weight so it must seem to work right?

Well, the teatox seems to work as a major body cleanser so I can understand how you could loose a little weight. But personally I think once you've been using BOOTEA for a few months I can't see it helping you to loose anymore. So this huge kit I have received will be the real test! One thing I do want to add as a note for users is to 100% check the ingredients and issues with teatox's I personally didn't know that these products affect contraceptive pill and stops it from working! (Which is no problem for me, but I know and herd of others who have had issues regarding not knowing this knowledge!)

Another month, another subscription box arrives! This month is my third month of being subscribed to Flamingo Candles and to my surprise we received a little reward of x8 scent eggs (which I will talk about later in this post). But September month is all about ORANGE!

1. White Lilac & Rhubarb ; £2 Click here
This melt is on the top lists of my favorites, the scent is fresh, clean and reminds me of Fresh Cotton from Flamingo Candles. Its scent is strong, and perfect for warm evenings to bring a clean motivated scent to the room!

2. Grapefruit, Orange & Lemon Peel - Melt Crowd Exclusive
I love love love this melt! I can't believe it is only a melt crowd exclusive because it's sooooo perfect, the scent is majorly strong which is always a bonus. It reminds me a lot of oranges but you can just get the hint of lemon which twists the scent into a fruity floral fresh smell that is just perfect! I honestly have no more words to describe this and can only hope we get this again in another subscription box because I just LOVE this melt!

3. Lemon & Lime Mojito ; £2 Click here
This is again, a perfect scent match for warm evenings or even when you're having friends over for a BBQ (Which I think would be perfect for this melt). It's scent is a strong lime but twists with a soft lemon, it's so fruity and fresh it makes me all excited!

4. Rose & Marshmallow ; £2 Click here
I have already purchased this melt before & reviewed it over on my blog which you can read about here.

5. Early Grey Tea & Cucumber ; £2 Click here
This melt I must admit isn't a lover of mine, the scent isn't overly strong and is more "green" reminding me of the outdoors, garden and fruity smell. Although it would be perfect to burn around lunch time in the kitchen when you're preparing food etc!

6. CIRCUS - Candy Floss ;
Now this melt is another lover of mine, as usually I am a huge fan of candy, sugary and sweet scents! And this melt ticks all of them off, it's sugary scent bursts with flavor of what reminds me as being in a candy store! Although the sheet I received about each melt didn't say this was an exclusive or preview I couldn't seem to find it on Flamingo Candles website so not sure if this is available to purchase?

7. Jamaican Cafe & Walnut ; £2 Click here
I love this melt, the scent is really strong reminding me of coffee and chocolate in one! This melt is defiantly perfect to burn while getting ready in the early mornings before work, school, college etc!

8. Creme Brulee - Melt Crowd Preview
I am so excited to be a preview user of this melt, and more excited for when it arrived available to purchase on the website! This is again a sugary sweet scent which reminds me of somewhat like buttercream not sure if anyone else gets that but it's soooo sugary and just PERFECT!

Scent Eggs ;
So this is my third month being subscribed to The Melt Crowd and as a celebration Flamingo Candle surprised me with a total of x6 scent eggs. Now at first I was unsure of what these products are, or how you even use them. But after digging into a bit of research I found you can place up to three DIFFERENT scent eggs into you're burner and reveal a new scent! Something I'm super excited to experiment with, although I love the scents on their own too! They work by getting standard jars of 25 Scent eggs or large jars which contains around 45 Scent eggs for an extra £3.

1. Cafe Mocha - Click here
These scent eggs are like a strong deep chocolate coffee, I can't believe how strongly they give off a scent being how little they are!

2. Chocolate - Click here
This scent egg is fully chocolate! Overpowering but yummy, it's exactly like a milky chocolate scent

3. Vanilla - Click here
This scent egg reminds me of sugary vanilla filling you use in cakes! The scent is very sugary and yummy but isn't too overpowering.

4. Coffee - Click here
Like expected, there is not much I can say about this egg scent expect that it does smell like coffee, just like the name!

Overall, I'm super impressed yet again with this month's box I can say by far my favorites are Creme Brulee, Grapefruit Orange & Peal and White Lilac & Rhubarb. Sign up for you're box now here if you haven't already & let me know in the comments or on Twitter what you're favorites where or how you describe scents!X
So over on my birthday which seems age ago but wasn't I purchased the Clinique Sonic System (Which is rather pricey but I have been saving up for a while to get one). On the day of purchasing the product if I bought 1 more skincare I would receive this bundle of mini freebies for FREE! (I also got 20% off my purchase as a Boot's celebration & I could collect points!)

1. High Impact Mascara (Black) ;
This product is a mini version of the full size Mascara which retails at £17.50, I must admit I wasn't overly impressed with the product itself. Personally I found it was very basic, the brush wasn't shaped differently and was rather chunky making it difficult to apply onto my inner corners (especially on my lower lashes!)

2. Chubby Stick ; (Lip balm)
I was so involve when I saw I got this freebie, chubby's are my favorite just because of the style! When I swatched I was shocked by how light the colour was, since it is rather vibrant looking I was expecting a lot of colour to plump out. Although it is a lip balm, so is more for moisturizing you're lips than colouring plus this is a decent size Chubby which normally retails at £17 for full size!

3. Turnaround Overnight Moisturizer ;
This product is a decent size mini as the full size of this product retails at £34 so is a perfect size mini to trail before buying the full size product! I applied a small amount of this all over my face and it felt like I had placed a thick layer of cream over my skin. It felt very cooling and smooth on the skin, which did make me feel more moisturized and like I had a healthy glow.

4. Eye shadow duo ; 18 beached plum
The packaging of this product is super perfect, plus the size is perfect for you're handbag! I love how the outer packaging of this is completely a mirror style which makes it easy to apply and useful as you wouldn't need to carry any other mirror with you! First off, the gold shade is by far my favorite as I love these shades. It has a small shimmer of glitter but would work better if you use a eye primer to lift the colour more. As for the plum purple shade, its very deep and you only need a small amount for a large quantity of colour.

5. Liquid facial soap ;
This soap is perfect to test if it is right for you're skin, I personally think this type (dry combination) would work best with skin that has less issues and maybe suffer with small dry patches etc..

6. Turnaround daytime moisturizer ;
This product is the alernative to the nightime product, and works perfectly on freshly cleansed skin. I noticed when you apply a primer over the top it gives a thick layer making you're skin feel clean with makeup applied!

7. Purple metal tin ;
This tin is large and is perfect for storage, whether you use it to store other cosmetic or skincare products. Or use it to store hair products, bath products etc it is super stylish and useful!

Overall, I was super impressed with this collection of freebies. All the sizes of the products were perfect and would easily last me 2 weeks possibly even longer!
