Mally concealer " Fair "

This concealer was purchased from a QVC set in the color " fair ", when I first received this product I expected the color to be wrong as it looked darker, as my skin type is porcelain.

However, the color is perfect! it is super light and a perfect match, I apply this product in an upside downwards triangle shape and then blending inwards towards my nose. I prefer to blend using my finger tip as I get a better effect and I find using my fingertip to create the triangle shape is a lot better as I feel I get my product use.

However, along with this set, I did receive the Mally Concealer brush, which is a very unique product. To get the fibers you pull downwards the top part which displays the top bits of the fiber, I like to use this when blending the concealer up close to my eyelid and inner eye corner. I also use this product by dabbing it onto the concealer and blending across any blemishes and blackheads which I feel need extra coverage. But the best thing I love about this product is that once you've finished you can push the lid upwards and it keeps the brush fibers protected and the lid isn't one which you pull off and can easily loose as it stays attached.

BareMineral's Flawless " mini brush "

This brush came as part of a set from QVC, although this is a " mini " and half the size of the original brush it's a great way to experience the brush before paying full price.

Size? It's about the same size as my palm (finger tip - bottom of palm), the fibers are perfect on this brush, none fall out and they are perfect (not sticking out). The fibers are super soft, and when you apply to the face it feels smooth, I have super sensitive skin and usually apply my makeup by fingertip to prevent irritation. Yet with this brush I've not had any issues!! I will defiantly consider purchasing full size product..

The Body Shop Tea Tree - " Primer "

This product was purchased when visiting The Body Shop in Chester, where I discovered there Tea Tree range. As my skin is very sensitive / oily I do breakout in spots almost every other day, as well as previous ache scars. This was one of three products I've been using as my " Skin care " range, I've been using this product for about three weeks and I can defiantly say.,.. I CAN SEE A DIFFERENCE! My skin is cleaning up well, the redness is not as much, my scars are fading away and I am breaking out about once a week!

Although my skin is clearing up, and I am breaking out less I do have to state... When I breakout they do seem to last longer and take longer to disappear.

Product application: So I use this product in the morning to a clean skin (I usally use Lush tea-tree water first), I apply a small amount of this to my hand and use my index finger to apply in a gentle motion all over my face INCLUDING the upper part of my neck which joins to my chin line... Once applied this product feels sleek and smooth, it doesn't appear " oily " and drys out straight away. I usually apply a BB cream/moisturizer over the top before carrying out my routine of foundation etc.... This gives a " matte " effect to my foundation and holds it in place all day!

Mally poreless perfection - " Fair "

This product was purchased in a QVC kit but can be bought from the Mally site (Link at end of post), the color is " Fair ", I am a pale / porcelain skin tone and at first when I swatched this product I did believe it would be a wrong color but it matches perfect.

Application: When applying this product I prefer to use a BB cream underneath to allow for a fuller coverage as this foundation is a "powder" style and is very lightweight and doesn't apply the best coverage! But once applied all over the face it doesn't appear "fake" or "cakey" and looks invisible like you have a health skin.

About the brush:

The brush also came with the kit, I wouldn't rate this product so well... The fibers in the brush doesn't last very long and I noticed at my first use of this foundation I applied with the brush and fibers kept falling out onto my skin. I would suggest there is a lot better out on the market, but the style is very simple, and is very lightweight to hold.

Rimmel London bronzer - " Sun glow 025 "

This product can be purchased at any high street drug store .e.g. Boots, Superdrug etc, at a cheap retail price of £5.99 (Link at end).

Product application: When applying this product I prefer to use an angled brush and swipe across the center of the bronzer about 2-4 times, then gently swipe downwards on my cheek bones (to identify my cheek bones I push my lips to one side and then apply). I swipe about 3 times or once a light bronze look is appeared (Not too much to stand out dramatically).

Once applied I like to add a blush just about and on the apples of my cheeks, and blend downwards into the bronze to get a " contour " appearance.

Vaca Day blush - " Bashful "

This blusher was purchased in a QVC set, this product is a rouge style blush in a pink color which can be made brighter with more product applied or lighter with less.

Application: When applying this product I use my index finger, and place lightly onto the blush and one a small amount is applied to my finger tip, I smile and dab about 3 dots along the apples of my cheeks and upwards above my contour line. Then rub upwards from the top (towards ear) and blend out with a circular motion downwards on my face to the apples of my cheeks.

Rating: 8/10 , this product is a very smooth texture feel and blends out really easily. The color is perfect for summer and easy to apply with brush or with finger tips, it lasts until I decide to remove my makeup and doesn't look "patchy".

High Shine Liquid Lipstick in Pouty - " Champagne  "

This lip gloss was purchased in a QVC set at £48, but can be bought on Mally's site for 20$ (both links at the end of this).

So, the lip gloss works by removing the lid at top and simply twisting the bottom towards the right direction. About 1-2 twists will push up the product to a brush fiber tip, when twisting it gives a click sound. This allows you to brush the fibers onto your lips and allowing the product to spread.

This color is by far my favorite so far, its a light, pale, nude shade which gives of a small glimmer shine with a sparkle glitter touch. The product is by far my favorite lip product on the market at the moment, reason why I choose to review this as one of the very first.
