I recently went on a small New Look splurge purchasing a few things I thought would be great for times like now, and for the winter season which is fast approaching us. Plus I just wanted to find an excuse to do a bit of online shopping right?!

Black Heels - Size 6 (UK)
So the first thing that was the main reason why I wanted to purchase was for these black suede heels, they zip up the back and are stretchy crossed lace like patterned on the front. When I got these I was slightly overwhelmed with how high they was, something I wasn't anticipating if I do say so! I would estimate them to be a good 5 or 6 inch heel height, and when I put them on I feel as though the backs of them push my feet forward more making it difficult to walk in... However I refuse to give up on these beauties and will be practicing to walk around the house in them during the next few weeks.

Baby Pink Ribbed Body Suit
I recently purchased a baby pink ribbed jumper from Lipsy, but it's cropped and honestly I get rather insecure when wearing a crop top.. I just hate showing skin! (I'm not fat or embarrassed just not a fan of it). I bought a size 10 thinking about the length of this as I'm tall but was worried it might not fit as I've never worn one of these before... It fitted perfect! It's slightly loose around the waist area but in length it's perfect, the shoulders are more 'off the shoulder' style but there is one major problem with this. At the bottom of this it has a button like shutting, I assume to make it easier to go the bathroom when wearing the product right? But WOW! It's majorly uncomfortable to wear with a pair of jeans over the top, I'm not sure if I will wear this or use it because you feel the plastic dig straight into your leg as you walk! Note to myself - buy one without this feature next time.

Batwing High Neck Tan Jumper
I purchased this thinking it would be great for the fall season, high neck because I love that style, but a lightweight knit material for the cooler days... I ordered a size medium (thinking let it be slightly loose and baggy) but WOW! It's huge.... Originally I was going to send this back but just decided to keep it now, I do regret not buying a size small, because honestly I would say this jumper could easily fit a size 12-14 whereas I'm more of a size 8-10. But I've just tucked the jumper into my jeans and sort-of make do with it...

Knitted High Neck Vest Jumper
This jumper was something different to what I've seen before, the vest top like sleeveless armed was just something which intrigued me... Again I went for a size medium thinking let it be loose and over-sized as during the winter times I prefer a loose baggy jumper to snuggle up into, but my bad! The medium must be around a size 12-14 because it's just huge, I doubt I will be wearing this unless I wash it and try to shrink it in size... A bonus is the material is very soft and cuddle-like.

Hey guys, so I've recently been getting 'bored' of using the same bath products over and over (I have always stuck to using Lush). I've been following a independent company who make all hand made products ranging from bath to candles that are NOT animal tested! Having my first wage last month I decided to treat myself to some new products, I decided to make a small but worthy purchase from Pretty Suds (to see what they are like before buying).

So what did I order?
Strawberry Milkshake Bath Bomb
I decided to purchase this product purely by the name and description from the site, I love anything 'food' or sweet and sugary scented. First off the size is very generously large, I noticed when I fizzed away in the water it took a long time to dissolve compared to lush bath bombs (which I actually preferred). The water turned very deep in colour, and smelled just as amazing as any other bath bomb I've used before I was truly shocked.

Poke Ball
Now as everyone knows since the new Pokermon App arrived a few months back everyone has been crazy over it, personally I've never been a Pokermon fan. But I saw this product being used over on Pretty Suds Instagram and LOVED the fact once it fizzed away you got a small figure inside the center. I've saw similar stuff where you get a jewlery piece etc inside the center of a bath bomb or candle on social media but has always had a high price. When I saw the affordable price of this I just had to get one, I was so excited to see which figure I would get inside but also because it looks exactly like a pokerball.

It's scent is very fruity and fresh, exactly like a watery cucumber and watermelon that's just been sliced open something very different to what I've ever had previously with bath bombs.

Sunny Side Up (Charity Egg Box)
When I saw this on the website I just had to get one, first off because you get 6 mini bath bombs which I thought was a great way to trail out the scents and get a good feel for the products (They are smaller versions of what you can buy from the site). Plus the company are donating 50p to the LGBT foundation which is great support and something I love to see is a company being charitable.

When they arrived I loved the packaging, in a small egg cardboard box holder and a small but worthy amount of paper string straw type of thing (hard to describe), but made them look that little bit more pretty. As soon as you open the box you get a powerful sweet sugary scent of different smells powering through the air (something I get very excited over). Originally I didn't expect them to be great for a luxury bath because of size, but they honestly worked just like a normal large bath bomb they turned the water into it's true deep colour and smelled so strong they was perfect for a luxury bath full of hot water to relax in!

Candyfloss (Luxury Wax Tart)
When I saw this product on the website I was unsure what to expect purely because the picture looked so detailed and delicate I didn't really expect the smell to be anything that strong. (I thought it would be design over scent) But I was completely wrong! It came looking out of this world stunning, such delicate detail with glitter and sprinkles. Plus it has a very strong scent of sugary sweet candyfloss reminding me of being at a arcade or theme park.

FAQ Tips and facts below;
Something extra to note is the fact the company off a points scheme (something I didn't notice till after purchasing), but for every product you buy you receive a specific amount of points (the higher the points the higher the price). When you get the specific amount of points stated on each product you can cash out / purchase and pay £0! (excluding postage). With this order it came to £12.90 + £3.95 shipping + £0.58p VAT totaling at £16.85 and received 51 points!
Plus after ordering I received a thank you email with a 10% off my next order coupon code (which expires 2 weeks from order date) which is an amazing gift if I'm honest!

Packaging;
You can 100% tell that everything is hand made and time is took to make everything look perfect! First off all the products came in a decently large size cardboard box taped all over with fragile tape. It had my address written on a super cute sticker that had pretty suds logo, and slogan on with return address (which stood out a lot and I loved it, even my postman commented how different and unique it was). Inside the box it was packed carefully with the white circular like soft bubble type packaging to ensure nothing moved around.
Each product was carefully packaged itself in a see-through plastic bag, tied with a string and paper tag or sticker attached to give the product name and detail. (Something I love, as it's not only an extra layer of protection but it looks great to give as a gift)
The receipt / invoice was also placed in a cute blue envelope with a pretty suds sticker to close shut (something else I've never seen before but very unique and stylish).

Overall, I'm in love with the products, the company, and the packaging with the extra coupons being a major bonus. I will be ordering again soon when I get more money and trying out some other products which is very excited. And it's safe to say, I think I've found a new love for bath bombs. X
Hey guys, so today I thought I'd write something a little different and talk about my current makeup products I've been using daily. Some of them are my all time favorites, others I just use because I have nothing else to replace them as of yet.

I start off by moisturizing my face (after washing it) and I use Clinique dramatically different gel. I use the gel moisturizer because it's best suited to oily skin, I have no issues using this product and is an all time favorite, I use it everyday for almost a year now. At first it can be slightly pricey retailing at £30 for full size but it does last, one pump does my entire face which is very generous. I normally then apply a primer over the top, but recently I ran out of my Laura Geller Spackle which I've been using so am yet to replace it (so I just skip this step). And move straight on to hydrating my lips by using W7 Lip Bomb, it's styled very similar to EOS and its so soft on my lips and just a favorite product I like to use.

I then move on to foundation, at the moment I have been using powder foundations purely for the fastness of application. I'm currently using Mally powder foundation in light, I will admit this isn't the greatest product for coverage (which is something I need) but does give a good even colour tone with a natural look. I then MUST use my Laura Geller 'real deal' concealer, I absolutely love this product. It gives 100% maximum coverage for the smallest amount, I apply this using a damp beauty blender sponge and put it under my eyes, brim of my nose and over any ache scars or blemishes. I then even all this out using a powder, at the moment I don't have any good powder to use apart from my Kardashians one which honestly isn't too bad. It evens out the concealer and powder foundation, and with the light colour is suits my skin perfectly.

For my cheeks I apply Benefit Hoola to contour using my NARS brush, and then use my Laura Geller pink blush over the cheeks with a Makeup Revolution blush brush from the unicorn theme. And then I use Makeup Revolution highlighter on the tops of my cheeks and sometimes along the brim of my nose using real technique contour brush, and I must admit this is my all time favorite highlighter. I always get compliments when I use it plus it's extremely affordable.

For my eye area I begin by using Benefit brow pencil (I've only recently been using this as I received a mini sample size in the mail but I'm completely in love with it and will be getting the full size product soon). I then like to apply my good old Benefit roller lash mascara, my all time favorite mascara as it not only applies a good even amount of product it also lifts my lashes and curls them slightly! And then I occasionally apply Mally bulletproof black eyeliner along my inner waterline. And of course use the Makeup Revolution highlighter and angled brush to apply under my eyebrow. Finally I like to apply my lip product last, and recently I've been using Bare Minerals marvelous moxie gloss which I love because of the angled brush but the colour isn't too strong and more soft.

Another month, another subscription box enters my door! This months #MeltCrowd is packed full of 'light' scents, very refreshing and relaxing rather than powerful smells. Plus I love the pink type theme with the tissue paper, sticker and overall it suits the August month.

Welsh Cakes
Now being Welsh, and living in Wales this melt is close to my heart and makes me even that bit more proud! The scent is AMAZING, and one of my favorites it's very food like with smell of mix spices and exactly like a bara brith (welsh loaf/cake).

I Carried A Watermelon
This melt is very fresh and slightly sweet, it's got a small hint of fresh watery watermelon but has a coating of sweet sugar. Personally I love this smell it's very refreshing and mouth watering.

Cactus
The only way I could most likely describe this melt is that it's very 'outdoor' like, it almost reminds me of freshly cut grass or the warm hot summer days.

Coastal Path
Oh my, this melt reminds me so much of being away in a hot country on holiday! It pretty much smells like the beach with the air smelling of cool fresh cocktails, with a very water like scent.

Tropical Coconut Milk & Honey
This melt has my name written all over it with regards to sweet sugary smells, it's packed with creamy coconut and soft sweet sugary honey. This is a perfect combination for the best tasty melt there could be, and honestly it's a favorite of mine in this months box.

Lilac
Now I'm pretty sure we might of had this melt previously but either way I'm fine with that, I love this scent. It's very soft and light with the smell of fresh lilac flowers but more sweet and sugary rather than floral.

Black Tea & Almond
This melt is a lot more of a mature scent being very fresh but a sweet tea like scent. It's by far one of the most refreshing yet sensitive melts we've seen so far, with a hint of cherry and sweet berries.

WILD White Musk
Now WILD melts are my all round favorite for the outgoing packaging, the scent itself is very soft and fresh. Reminding me of a floral like vanilla smell which is very delightful.

Overall, I love this months melt by far my favorite is Welsh Cakes not just because of the name but also because is is a food like scent (which is close to my heart with smells). And of course Tropical Coconut Milk & Honey is another favorite from the month with the sugary sweet smell, if I'm completely honest there isn't one melt from this month I can say I dislike or wouldn't be something I would personally choose to buy.

So I recently managed to visit a Yankee Candle store (on Cheshire Oaks Outlet) which has a variety of new and old candles for retail price and discounted price. I went in mainly to browse the store as I'm currently over stocked on candles, but came out with a small purchase.

The first, and my most favorite bargain purchase was a small jar in scent 'Candy Cane Lane'. This was from the Christmas season collection, small jars retailing at £6.84-£10 each, I know after Christmas the products where 50% off. But this jar was on sale for £2.70, it was the only one left in store and honestly I just couldn't leave it there. First off because the size is super adorable and would sit perfect on my desk, but also because the scent is very sweet but not overpowering and tasty.

The next purchase was the green Votive glass holder which I purchased for £0.90p, again another bargain offer. The reason for getting this was not just the price, but the colour would suit perfect in the livingroom (which is green themed) and I'm always in need for holders to put around the house.

The sale wax melts I got where 50% off RRP price, I picked up the Salted Caramel because it's one of my all time favorite scents being sweet and sugary but also because this melt is very strong and powerful in regards with smell. I also picked up melting marshmallow wax melt from the 'simple home' collection, if I'm honest I've never seen this melt before but when I smelt it I could of died for it! It's another sweet, sugary mouth watering smell that's pretty much the smell of warm soft marshmallows plus the scent isn't too overpowering.

With the Votive's I picked up two, the first one being again in the 50% off RRP price sale was Pain Au Raisin. This melt I've used previously with purely because of the food like smell, it's very sweet and sugary. Then I picked up Olive & Thyme votive which again I've used previously (this melt wasn't in the 50% sale), I love this melt one because the green colour suits perfect to the livingroom colour scheme. But mainly because of the fresh outdoor like scent has been very refreshing to burn during the hot summer days.

Overall, I'm in love with my small but mighty purchases, and would advise visiting any local Yankee Store you might have. I know there is one in Chester city center and Cheshire Oaks which is the nearest for me, and both have great offers on all time round.  X
