This months box was all about girl power, pink and red with sweet-food like scents. I'm in love with the packaging and this month has some of my favorite melts. So what's inside?
- Lilac
- Old Books
- Bubblegum
- Thunderstorm
- Cherry Amaretto
- Banana Pancakes
- Lime & Black Pepper
- Black Raspberry & Vanilla- Lilac
- Cheesecake Crunch (27 month special)

First off, BANANA PANCAKES! Oh my, this is the best melt of the box and possibly all time round. Pretty sure we've had all of these melts previously (which is slightly disappointing but I suppose what should I expect after being a member for over two years lol), the bubblegum is another sugary melt.

However, the old books put me way off and probably my least favorite... It just has that odd, old/dusty smell to it which I'm not a fan of lol. Plus, the thunderstorm isn't all that great either its again a dull scent not very food or floral which I am obsessed with.

PLUS, this month is my 27 month celebration and I got an extra wax melt in the scent 'cheesecake crunch'. Again, I've ordered this separately off Flamingo Candles several times and it's beyond one of my favorites. It's food like, but honestly reminds me of the best desert, CHEESECAKE!

Overall, another great #MeltCrowd subscription box packed full of food scents! Make sure you join the monthly subscription on Flamingo Candles website here; (Make sure you tag me in photos!)
So I recently purchased two products on Amazon from a brand called Grace & Stella Co. Why? Well I thought it was time to try some new products that I've never herd of before, nor saw many people talk about! So what did I get?!

The first, was a 3D Mascara Fiber Lashes set at £10 (on sale price) when it arrived I had HUGE positive first impressions. The packaging and smaller detail was beautiful, it had a lavish silk-like material inside the box which held the Mascara tube, a Fiber tube (smaller tube pot) and a eyelash brush!

How does it work?
Well you start off with 'Step 1' applying the mascara (bigger tube) over your lashes, once done you apply the 'Step 2' which is the fiber tube. Once you've applied the fibers you go over them straight away with 'Step 1' mascara again to keep the fibers in place. And then repeat the process for further thickness.

My opinions on the product?
Well, I will admit if your looking for maximum length this isn't for you! But if your looking for thick, natural, fluffy looking lashes then YES! This is for you!!! The mascara isn't overly powerful and using it it's own doesn't exactly 'wow' me. But once you apply the fibers you instantly get a thickness and just makes your lashes come alive! I normally repeat the process twice to get that extra dramatic look, but they look so natural. It doesn't make your lashes look clumpy or stuck together.

The second product I got was a bath bomb set (£16.95) which contained 8 large scented bath bombs and a shower gel. It came again with outstanding packaging, it was in a large beautiful rounded box (perfect to give as a gift). Inside the bath bombs formed a circle with the shower gel in the center, it all fitted so perfectly...

The size of the bath bombs are pretty decent too and what I would call an average size in comparison to bigger brand names like Lush... The bath bombs are more of a luxury, sophisticated product rather than wild, crazy colour changing bath bombs. The scents are mixed from Jasmine to Grapefruit, they are super relaxing! They turn the water a slight change in colour but nothing too dramatic, and a drop of the shower gel gives off a small bit of bubbles is just perfect to relax in!

I would highly recommend the bath bomb set, especially if your looking to give it as a gift because it's highly worth the money! (if you work out the price it's less than £2.11 per bath bomb!) plus your getting a free shower gel and beautiful packaging.!

Overall, I am really impressed not only are they great products they are also great ideas as gifts and I will be buying again. The company stock a whole range of products on there website and Amazon, I just choose to order through Amazon because of my Amazon Prime account :) X

This months box is again another cute packaging, it's very pastel in colours and just reminds me of mermaids and the beach. The scents overall where very soft, and refreshing to smell and when the monthly box arrived it smelt beautiful before I even opened it. So what was in this months box?

- Lemon & Lime Mojito

- Gooseberry & Elderflower
- Plum Blossom
- Raspberry & Salted Caramel
- Pink Prosecco
- Blackcurrant Jam
- Green Apples
- Candy Shop

As you can tell this months box is full of food-like scents (which I love), but the first melt that caught my eye was the Pink Prosecco. The scent is so refreshing and sweet plus the name is cute! The Candy Shop melt is another sweet, sugary and mouth watering melt that has a perfect name (I wish all melts where this haha).

Overall, this months box is another favorite purely down to how sweet, sugary, and food like the melts are. Plus the packaging is a big win, it's very relate-able to summer and I just love it!

Hey guys so my weekend has been crazy! I headed down to Liverpool Friday afternoon and checked into the Hilton Hotel which was pretty straight forward. It cost me £120 to stay just one night (so rather expensive to some hotels I've stayed in previously), one thing I will admit was the staff who checked me in didn't explain how to use our room card. What I mean by that, is when getting into the lift we was pressing the button to get to our floor (4) and nothing was happening, we felt stuck in a lift (lol). You had to put the card in the lift holder then press the floor (learn something new everyday), the same when using the stairs you couldn't get into the floor corridors without using the room card. So I will give the Hilton Hotel, security & privacy was impressive.

That Friday evening, we unpacked and heading into Liverpool one (which was literally like a 2 minute walk from the hotel) where we checked out a few stores. First off, WOW! So many sales, the Zara was HUGE and 95% of the store was on a major sale it was cheap!!! The Victoria Secrets/PINK was also HUGE and they again had some amazing sales on I mean £12 bra's, and £3 knickers?! Oasis, Ted Baker, and all the other shops around had some bargain sales on I felt in love.

We headed for food and cocktails later on where we ate at Las Iguanas and I discovered I got a First Class Hons BSc in my Degree! Then, after a bit of food, drinks & celebration we headed back to the hotel. The room was big, glam, and rather nice we had a view of Liverpool One and yeah!

I went to a party later that night that a friend was having, then, the next morning I got dressed, makup'ed and headed into Liverpool One. Mainly to Superdrug to grab some paracetamol, then to Starbucks for breakfast. We headed back to the hotel and checked out around 11am 'ish (checkout was to be done for 12 midday) and headed to the car to drop our bags off.

So, the British Collective Style event...  We booked our tickets for the Saturday I was rather excited for it this year, first off because it's in Liverpool and not Birmingham which is easier for me to travel to. But second off, because it's in July and not December the weather was much nicer (sunny & warm) and I didn't have to worry about spending too much as Christmas is still far away. The only thing that put me off was that the event was split all over the city, the shopping & show was on the river front at the Eco Arena. Meanwhile, the runways and talks were the other side of the city (they did have buses running but it was a lot of hassle and fuss which isn't my scene).

The tickets where also sold for two separate time slots for the day (morning and afternoon) so I got the afternoon thinking I could spend the whole day shopping. However, the shopping was a major let down. The arena with the shopping halls was small, there wasn't much variety in terms of unusual brands like Birmingham (no GHD, just clothing, makeup and some hairstylists). Plus, everything seemed pretty expensive or full price I mean Victoria Secrets had a tiny selection of products at full price meanwhile Liverpool One has a PINK store which literally had a 75% sale!

Since the variety of shopping was rather dull, we had pretty much walked around all the stalls within 45 minutes - 1 hour. That includes making the odd purchase, and testing out a few products along with checking out all the stalls products. I must admit it was highly disappointing, Olivia Buck from last years Love Island was due to give a speech so I decided to grab a coffee and see what that was all about. Turns out Olivia was running later, nothing new with 'celebrities' I ended up getting bored and 30 minutes later left feeling angry...

We had booked our tickets for the runway fashion event later that evening but after a major disappointing day we ended up just going home. So yes, I ended up skipping the show which I was a bit disappointed by but we had over 3 hours to kill before it started and I felt beyond exhausted. I will honestly say if the lineup looks the same as it did for next year, in terms of celebrities being those who are from TV shows. Or that the brands are ones I can pick up from the high street, and it's not made clear there will be good discount sales I will NOT be attending next year.
This is my third month of being subscribed to Glossy Box, and again they prove to be AMAZING! The July box was fully of products I would use on a day-to-day basis, plus the products are worth way more than the subscription fee.

What's in the July box?
- MONUspa Soothing After Sun Lotion RRP £19.95

- Deliwash Cleansing Conditioner RRP £16.80
- Banana Setting Powder RRP £25
- Spectrum Small Fan A10 RRP £4.99
- Spiral Hairbands RRP £4.99

Out of everything in the box the two products that caught my eye the most was the Spectrum brush and the banana setting powder. The brush is BEAUTIFUL! I mean, it's stunning the colours are gorgeous and the bristles on the brush are so thick and soft (plus don't fall out).

The banana powder is something I've wanted to try for awhile but always put off by the price, the fact Glossy Box has included the full size is mind blowing. The product itself only requires a little amount for a perfect finished look.

As for the hairbands, they're so easy to use and at first I thought they might be damaging to my hair. But shockingly they are not, they're easy to use and rather comfortable to wear. The Elgon conditioner is full size! The product smells amazing and it is super interesting to see how it can be used as a shampoo and conditioner (and you don't need a large amount).

Overall, I'm in love with July's box the products are good high quality without having to pay the high prices. It's a great box to try out products before investing, and you get such a range! I'm super excited to see whats in next months box. X

Glossy Box | July Box

by on 16:33
This is my third month of being subscribed to Glossy Box, and again they prove to be AMAZING! The July box was fully of products I would use...
So River Island have recently had a HUGE 50% sale which seemed to be going on for weeks, when it first hit online I of course had to make a small order. So what did I get?

Blue Embroidered Alannah Relaxed Skinny Jeans 10R RRP £48 paid £24
Black Chain Strap Slouch Bag RRP £33 paid £16.50
White Metallic Panel Tote Bag RRP £47 paid £23.50
Gold Metallic Slim Front Pocket Foldout Purse RRP £8 paid £4
Cream Floral Print Cigarette Trousers size 10 RRP £40 paid £20

Now, first off the trousers I bought both in a size 10R which is my normal size for River Island and I find their jeans are the most comfortable to wear! The cream floral cigarette trousers fit perfect, they are a bit see-through which put me off but never the less they are smart for work-wear or events.

The skinny jeans I was expected a lot from, but I will say I am very disappointed. The site says nothing about them being cropped, or shorter legged and I am normally a size regular in leg length. But when I wore them, I felt like they was a little short, as to just above my ankle? My other River Island jeans aren't like that, they fitted fine otherwise a little uncomfortable but I assume after wearing them a few times they would get more stretched.

The bags! Well the black chain bag I bought purely because of the price and colour, black goes with every outfit right? It's a large bag suitable for long days out where you need to take a lot of stuff, or for university/school use to carry books in. Plus, £16.50 is super cheap especially for River Island! It arrived beautiful, no issues, I love it!

The white metallic tote bag, I had high expectations for I was expecting it to have that 'WOW' factor. But it doesn't... It has a lot of silver on the bag, just as the photos but I felt like it made it look slightly cheap? Maybe that's just me, but the bag style just isn't for me...

And finally the small gold purse, I bought this because of the size as I recently bought a small but expensive Ted Baker bag (discussed on my previous blog post). My current River Island purse is huge in size, but this one is perfect for nights out or just to carry the essentials.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about the purchases I made some I love but some I just feel like they could of been better. Let me know what you got in the River Island sale? Or what you would of liked to have gotten. X
Pool Party!!!! That's this months theme, perfect for summer and the packaging on the melts are super cute. We have unicorns, doughnuts, watermelon etc! I genuinely love the packaging and how each melt has their own little emoji/icon. So what's in this months box?
- Beach Ball

- Watermelon
- Thai Lime & Mango
- Sweet Lime & Cedar
- Pomegranate Cider
- Pineapple & Raspberry
- Mango & Dragonfruit
- Lemon Curd

Now they all smell AMAZING, and before I even opened the box I fell in love. But for me, the most favorite is the Thai Lime & Mango it's fresh smelling AND has a super cute unicorn picture on the packaging. The pineapple & raspberry is another sweet but refreshing scent that I love, and of course watermelon which has a mouth watering smell to it.

As usual with the melt crowd, this subscription is just £10 including postage! Plus you get a 20% off discount code to use for the entire month, and some super cute smelling products. For me, the #MeltCrowd is a MUST have monthly subscription sign up with them on there website (http://www.flamingocandles.co.uk/the-melt-crowd/). And don't forget to tag @FlamingoCandles in your social media photos, they love seeing them and sometimes share them! (Tag me too, why not!?) X

So recently Ted Baker have been having a HUGE clear-out sale with up to 50% off! Plus, me being me who is totally obsessed with bags had to make a small purchase. So about two weeks ago when the sale first started I ordered two items;

- Oriental Blossom small tote bag £65 RRP £109
- Entangled enchantment large shopper bag £24 RRP £40

Now the first thing I will admit was how disappointing I was with the packaging, in the past when I've bought items (especially the expensive ones) they normally come in a Ted Baker dust bag, or cardboard green/yellow box. Both the bags arrived in a large tall brown cardboard box (packaging) and inside where the two bags which looked lonely in such a big box. The bags themselves were in a clear plastic bag, like you get when ordering clothes off the likes of New Look. They of course then had the new wrapping around the bags, but that's it... No boxes, no dust bags, and if I'm honest I was shocked.

However, I love the two bags the large tote one I have been using for things like work/university to carry a lot of items in. And the smaller bag I have been using when out shopping, using the satchel strap across body. Both bags are stunning, I'm very impressed with the quality and would totally buy more (if I could afford).

So I thought my Ted Baker sale bargains where over, but no! I recently went to CheshireOaks Designer Outlet and visited the Ted Baker store (which pretty much always has a sale on). I saw so many beautiful dresses (ideal for my graduation but all the wrong colour), but I came across this stunning gem neck top. It was beautiful, just like all of Ted Baker's items and I was expecting the high designer price tag.

But NO! The top was in the sale RRP £139 reduced to £40 in the outlet store but then had further reductions and was only £24!!!!! WHAT?! They only had size 0, 1 and 5's but not many in the size 1, I tried the size 1 on in the store. The staff were so helpful and helped me decide it was a perfect size and bought it instantly.

Ted Baker | Mini Haul

So recently Ted Baker have been having a HUGE clear-out sale with up to 50% off! Plus, me being me who is totally obsessed with bags had to ...
So this is my second month with Glossy Box's subscription, I was very dubious about what to expect this month. However, I'm shook! This month has improved drastically, and honestly I fell in love with so many products. Plus, it was packaged beautifully again just like last time (if you haven't read the May's box blog post check it out here).

What's inside June's box?

BeautyPro Black Diamond Mask
- 111Skin Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel 5ml
- Manna Kadar Sheer Glow Illuminator 20ml
- Sleek Power Plump Lip Crayon
- Africa Argan Oil Hand Cream 100ml
- Batiste Heat & Shine Spray 200ml

The item that first caught my eye was the Batiste, purely because it's a full size product!?!? Crazy right? I love Batiste and knew instantly this product would be used often by me. The, the BeautyPro diamond face-mask intrigued me I was expecting it to work like those face-mask demo videos you see on Facebook. The ones when you peel, you see all the black heads inside the mask?

Well, I gave this product a try and must admit, it wasn't all that amazing. It dried quicker in my t-zone area (around nose), I left it on for 20-ish minutes and then peeled off. I found it easy to peal off, but it left the skin a bit dirty I had to thoroughly rinse my face straight away. My skin felt smooth and soft, but for someone with oily skin type it wasn't too long before I had to do my full skincare routine again because it got so oily. As for the mask, a few black heads showed but nothing to make me go 'wow'. I would probably never buy this again, I feel like there are more masks that work better for my skin type but it was nice to try out.

The sheer glow illuminator caught my eye, but when I tried it I noticed it had a huge fragrance and chemicals which did put me off. It worked alright, it gave a glow effect when I mixed with my foundation, but the smell just puts me off. And the African oil hand cream was a huge love, smells amazing, great product size, and something I am using daily!
