The Cosmetic Company | Mini Haul
Hey everyone, so I recently took a trip to Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet it's a shopping area with lots of various designer stores including clothes, shoes, jewelry, makeup etc. Among my many purchases one shop in particular that caught my eye the most was 'The Cosmetics Company' they had lots of high-end cosmetic, skincare and parfum brands including MAC, Clinqiue, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder and much more. Plus they was ALL cheaper than what they would sell for in the stores themselves, some prices where just a little under retail price but others which a huge saving!
After spending awhile in the shop I managed to pickup a few things, mainly they was all skincare related as I am trying to push for the best possible skincare out there. Although I only purchased three products (I could of bought many more but my bank would of cried!) they came to a somewhat large total of £56 although the RRP would have been £74.50 so I saved a good chunk of money. So what did I buy?
Bobbi Brown Hydrating Gel Cream - £30 (RRP £40)
Bobbi Brown was one of the first high-end cosmetic products I ever used and is an all time favorite, why? Because I personally found the products to be so much more healthier for my skin, it reduced breakouts by a mile and left me feeling confident with my skin. However, over the past few years I haven't always gone back to Bobbi, why? Price is the first hiccup, all the products are in my opinion 'high end' especially when it comes to the price (£30 for a foundation can be a tackle for students). But I used this cream many years ago and I fell in love, although it is very pricey it lasts so long as you need a small amount (just enough to cover the tip of your finger would be fine). Ensuring you apply the product evenly all over your face and neck, it doesn't cause me any dryness, or cause my skin to get oily it just has that perfect balance. After only using it for just under two weeks I can already admit I'm back to wanting to get all Bobbi products, I haven't broke out as much and I feel like applying this helps make a flawless look when it comes to applying foundation.
Clinique Anti Blemish Cleansing Foam - £13.50 (RRP £18)
When I first bought my Clinqiue Sonic System I originally used the anti blemish skincare range, including the sonic head specified for this range! I fell in love with the foam, purely because it's not too strong and powerful on my skin, it leaves you feeling oil free pretty much all day or night. One pump of this does my face perfectly for a full wash (sometimes I splash a little water on my face before applying the foam to rub in), but I do recommend having a good moisturizer after so you don't dry up. But the major bonus I've found using this product for two weeks now is I haven't broken out in blemishes, or 'spots' anymore than normally I would. And if anything its starting to reduce the ones I had, and scaring marks left on my skin! Always remember to apply your cleanser and moisturizer to your neck too.
Clinique Clarifying Lotion Type 3 - £12.50 (RRP 16.50)
Now I'm a huge sucker for Clinique skincare in case you already didn't know, and I had a small mini sample size of this product long ago and fell in love with it. I never got round to buying the full size, mainly down to already owning many other 'toners' or 'lotions' and felt like I needed to use those first. But since purchasing this product, I use it straight after I've cleansed my skin using a piece of cotton wool, and lightly dabbing across my entire face. You instantly can tell it cleans your skin that little bit more with a powerful, strong 'fresh' like scent but it doesn't leave you oily or dry! (Although I instantly moisturize straight after)

Overall, I'm in love with every single purchase I feel like I can finally start to become proud and comfortable with my skin using just these three products. I'm not 100% sure if The Cosmetic Company have lots of stores located around the UK or if its an exclusive to Cheshire Oaks? (I doubt it) but they did have a website (which you can visit here) although they don't seem to stock majority of what they had in the store. X
