So this is my second month with Glossy Box's subscription, I was very dubious about what to expect this month. However, I'm shook! This month has improved drastically, and honestly I fell in love with so many products. Plus, it was packaged beautifully again just like last time (if you haven't read the May's box blog post check it out here).

What's inside June's box?

The item that first caught my eye was the Batiste, purely because it's a full size product!?!? Crazy right? I love Batiste and knew instantly this product would be used often by me. The, the BeautyPro diamond face-mask intrigued me I was expecting it to work like those face-mask demo videos you see on Facebook. The ones when you peel, you see all the black heads inside the mask?

Well, I gave this product a try and must admit, it wasn't all that amazing. It dried quicker in my t-zone area (around nose), I left it on for 20-ish minutes and then peeled off. I found it easy to peal off, but it left the skin a bit dirty I had to thoroughly rinse my face straight away. My skin felt smooth and soft, but for someone with oily skin type it wasn't too long before I had to do my full skincare routine again because it got so oily. As for the mask, a few black heads showed but nothing to make me go 'wow'. I would probably never buy this again, I feel like there are more masks that work better for my skin type but it was nice to try out.

The sheer glow illuminator caught my eye, but when I tried it I noticed it had a huge fragrance and chemicals which did put me off. It worked alright, it gave a glow effect when I mixed with my foundation, but the smell just puts me off. And the African oil hand cream was a huge love, smells amazing, great product size, and something I am using daily!

So this month is very special to me with my #MeltCrowd subscription from Flamingo Candles, that's because it's been exactly TWO years of continuous subscription with them. Yup, two full years with no cancellation! And to my surprise, I received a FREE candle jar, plus this month's theme is 'tropic' and very rainforest like.

So when I saw all the melts in my box, the first one that instantly caught my eye was the Strawberry Candy and Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream. Of course the two most sugary, sweet named ones! The strawberry candy melt isn't the smell of fresh strawberries I was expected, it's much more of that artificial strawberry scent you get with milkshakes. It still smells delicious. The raspberry ripple ice cream is actually very vanilla like to me? Odd, I'm strange, but it's such a creamy melt with a sugary sweet smell to it.

I am happy to say, there isn't one melt in this months box that doesn't appeal to me, they all smell beautiful. I know for sure I will burn all of these scents at some point without any doubt. The palm tree, and white musk are the two more sophisticated scents out of the box that have a more relaxing smell to them.

As for the two year gift I received, it was a jar candle with the letter 'A' in the scent Raspberry & Salted Caramel. My all time favourite smell, so sweet and sugary perfect for any time of the year. The letter 'A' I found very creative, interesting fact is this subscription was taken out under my mums name. She pays for the subscription monthly and we share the melts, so assumingly the letter A came from her name as the subscription is in her name. But luckily enough, we both share the same letter 'A' for our names (Amy) which is an even better factor to this beautiful gift.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Flamingo Candles, not only for my free candle (which I'm beyond in love with, thank you again) but also thank you for keeping the #MeltCrowd alive all this time. They've been so creative over the two years, different themes, all melts match the themes scents, and all packaged beautifully and different each month. So thank you Flamingo Candles!

Flamingo Candles | June Box & 2 Years

So this month is very special to me with my #MeltCrowd subscription from Flamingo Candles, that's because it's been exactly TWO year...

So last month my mum surprised me with an unexpecting subscription with Glossy Box it arrived in the mail packaged beautiful. Glossy box have their own packaging cardboard box, if that makes sense! So you knew exactly what the parcel was before you even opened it. Inside, you get a good quality pink box (perfect for up-cycling to storage) and inside that is the products wrapped beautifully in pink paper and black ribbon.

Whats inside the May box?

- Il-Luminate milk cleanser 200ml

- Sleek Makeup 'Eye & Cheek Palette'

- Ruby Blush

I must admit when I first received this box I was very disappointed, the items where nice but stuff I wouldn't personally choose to use on a daily basis or purchase on their own. However, I've saw so many other bloggers recommend the box and even friends in real life who've told me previously they've had some major 'bargains' and 'lovable' items. I've decided I will give the subscription another month to see whats included, if I feel the same I'm likely to cancel the box.

The milk cleanser was probably the first thing that caught my eye, for some reason when seeing it I was instantly reminded of Clinique's cleansing milk. I'm not sure if it will be great for my skin, I'l try it out and let you all know as I do have very sensitive skin (prone to breakouts or outbursts of oil when using different products).

After the past few boxes I didn't think they could get any better, but oh boy they did! This months box was packed with five exclusive melts, and one preview! I honestly love it when this happens, I feel like as part of the melt crowd we are one of the first to try out new, secret products. Plus, after Easter I loved the bunny melt mainly because it was shaped different! But in this months box I was beyond surprised to see another melt shaped differently.

Raspberry & Salted Caramel - £2

Now I know I've tried this melt before, not sure if I ordered it off the site or if it was in another previous box. But I love the scent, its very sweet sugary raspberry flavored but its packed with a thick soft caramel layer.

Sparkling Diamonds - Melt Crowd Exclusive
This melt is hard to describe, the scent is very lightweight power like. It kind of reminds me of baking, fresh flour or like the parma violets sweets.

WILD Dewberry - Melt Crowd Preview
First off I didn't expect this melt, I haven't read up beforehand or saw anything about it. But it kinda reminds me of the B.A.R.E or CIRCUS collection which I am beyond excited about! The packaging is super vibrant, and colourful which is very attractive especially for the summer period. The scent is very strong, reminding me of sherbet or a jar of sweets.

Spring Bloom - Melt Crowd Exclusive
This melt completely shocked me, I didn't expect a melt to be shaped differently like the Easter box. But this melt is shaped like a flower, with a pink detail which I love it's perfect for a "spring" box. It's scent is very floral but not the fresh strong type, it's more of a light sweet floral smell.

English Pear & Freesia - Melt Crowd Exclusive
This scent is very strong, its a fresh outdoor grass like smell which is packed of fresh pear and fruits.

Strawberry Cream Tea - £2
I'm in love with this melt, another favorite added to my list. The scent is very cream, milky oriented but has a light strawberry sauce flavor. It kind of reminds me of a strawberry sundae you get which is beyond tasty!

April Showers - Melt Crowd Exclusive
This melt is probably the most different of this months box, the scent is very fresh, clean and pure floral scented. I would honestly say its probably my least favorite of the month, probably because the scent isn't all appealing to me. It's more of a clean, bathroom outdoor type scent where as the others are more kitchen, sugary food like scents.

Sweet Peanuts - Melt Crowd Exclusive
Oh my, out of all the melts in this months box this is my favorite of them all. It's scent is packed full of sugary, sweet peanut like smell which instantly reminds me of peanut butter! I am honestly so gutted this is an exclusive and can only pray it makes a return someday because this might be an all round favorite.

Overall, I'm in love with this months box its very food oriented scents and I was completely shocked with the Spring Bloom melt shape. And all I can do is hope there is more WILD scents to add to the collection. Of course, I love how many exclusives we have been given but all I can do is hope some make a return in the future because I've fallen in love with A LOT of this months melts.

Flamingo Candles | April Box

A new year, a new box, new melts! I was super excited to get my hands on this months Flamingo Candles melt crowd subscription box because I had herd they was including a preview of the new B.A.R.E Essential Oils melts. So what was inside?

1. Coconut
This melt is very "coconut" scented, reminding me of fresh smooth milky smells with

2. Crystal Mountain Water
This melt was very outdoor fresh clean scented again, but somewhat reminds me of the kitchen smell after washing fresh fruits during the summer.

3. Orange & Lemon Essential Oils
This melt was my FAVORITE from this months, and possibly an all round time one! The smell was so fresh but so strong it was crazy, smelling of a clean sugary sweet scent that reminded me of making homemade lemonade during the summer but had a fruity twist of fresh orange meshed within.

4. Cinnamon & Mandarin Essential Oils
This scent is very strong again like the other Essential oil melt, but strong of Cinnamon (which I usually love). But it has a strong twist of other spices too reminding me a bit like orange spice. I have to admit I was a little put back from smelling this scent but it might smell different when I begin to burn!

5. Strawberry Jam
I love this melt, it's packed full of fresh tasty fruity strawberries with a punch of soft red jam! Making me want to just eat it, I am so excited to start burning this melt.

6. Pink Denim
This melt is packed full of fruity floral scents reminding me of roses, it's very feminine and reminds me of parfum scents like when you walk into the store.

7. Baby Powder
This melt is super clean scented, exactly what it would smell like if you smelt baby powder. Again another melt I just love!

8. Whisky
This melt has somewhat of a sugary smell to it, I was expect the smell to be strong and distinctive but instead its more of a light tasty peaceful melt.

Overall, I do love this months box and I'm super excited to see more from the B.A.R.E essential oils range because the scents are ten times strong! X

Another month, another subscription box arrives! This month packed of Christmas scents PLUS the extra Christmas goodies & surprises! First off, when I unboxed I noticed the bright pink plastic Flamingo! I love this, personally because it can be used for multi purpose - hanging on your Christmas tree OR on your dressing table! PLUS an extra melt "Snow Angel 6" which surprised me so much, I honestly wasn't expecting that!

Candles;

1. Asian Pear & Plum - £2
This melt has a super clean fresh scent that reminds me of the outdoors in a fruit shop! There is a clear scent of fruity plum but with a twist of soft fresh pear. The scent isn't super strong from first impression but does make you feel instantly relaxed.

2. Mulled Wine & Berries - £2 (Click here)
This melt is a Christmas themed one, and oh boy do I love it! It's scent is strong and instantly throws an alcohol like wine smell that feels rich with the taste of fresh clean berries. This scent just gets me in the mood for Christmas and just reminds me of Christmas!

3. Black Cherry - Melt Crowd Exclusive
This melt is also strong scented reminding me of a fruity fresh of sugary cherries. This melt is a hard one to explain other than it just reminds me of that Christmas scent on the day when your about to prepare all the different puddings!

4. Cinnamon Sticks - £2 (Click here)
This melt is another strong scent packed with ginger spice that is the perfect typical "cinnamon" scent. This type of melt can easily get you in the mood for Christmas but is also perfect for the cold winery evenings AFTER Christmas!

5. Christmas Pudding - Melt Crowd Exclusive
This melt is another perfect Christmas themed melt, filled with a cinnamon spice twist and tasty sugary food like smell.

6. Vanilla Milk Bottles - £2 (Click here)
If you know me, you'll know I'm a huge lover for sugary, sweet candy like scents. This melt is packed full of a sugary sweet vanilla scent that's mixed in with a creamy twist. Another new favorite and love of mine! (100% recommend)

7. Mistletoe - Melt Crowd Exclusive
This melt isn't as strong as the others but has a fresh clean smell to it, that reminds me of the outdoors when you go to garden centers!

8. Black Tea & Almond - £2 (Click here)
This melt is scent very dark like, filled with a fresh clean scent of floral fruity outdoors.

Snow Angel 6 - Christmas extra!

This melt is scented very fresh and clean reminding me of snow and ice on the winter days. But it also has a minty twist to it making is easy to pickup and smell in the air on dull gloomy days!

Overall, I just love this months box each melt included has become a new love of mine especially the vanilla milk bottles. The box can easily set me in the mood for Christmas but also they are perfect for burning in the cold winter nights!,

So this months Glamour Magazine is all about fashion and trends, its jam packed of models from various brands - High end AND lower end prices! PLUS it has all the beauty favorites 2015, including the juicy headline stories. And it came with a lot of freebie samples which is always a win, including BB cream, parfum scents and foundation samples!

First off it was pretty awesome to see NARS had there own page, sponsor to show off the new mascara. Which at first, I must admit I thought it was some sort of new lip product... Although after researching the before and after photos, along side reviews of this product it doesn't seem all that special the only benefit I would say is that is volumizes a lot more than other products do.

It was also pretty awesome to see Kendall Jenner modeling throughout the magazine with various fashion companies. Purley because I love her body as it's skinny but not "ill" skinny, and there was a page in this months magazine which I thought should be included in most magazines about lifestyle, fashion etc! That was the 8 health checks, it hit me as being a young female some of the topics mentioned in the article I personally wouldn't of even thought to test and check for.

Glamour Magazine | October 2015

So this months Glamour Magazine is all about fashion and trends, its jam packed of models from various brands - High end AND lower end price...

This months box has arrived in style, first off I quickly want to point out as I've moved back to university accommodation majority of my parcels still get delivered back home. Therefore I am getting my mum to take pictures for me (hence the lower quality and blur pictures, I am truly sorry it's the only solution for the moment!). I love this months box, purely because of how seasonal the melts are!

Applecurrant Crumble ; £2 Click here

This melt is one of my favorites in this months box, it's perfect for those of us with a sweet tooth. It has a very tasty sugar smell reminding me a lot of pastry and buttery crumble, the scent name is pretty much as it is! Very tasty and sugary!

Cranberry, Orange & Cinnamon ; £2 Click here

This melt again, is a new love of mine! Purely because of how seasonal the scent is, it has a strong smell of cinnamon but twists with the orange making it have it's own personal kick. It's perfect for the upcoming wintry, cold evenings and to get you all festive for the season!

Pink Ribbon ; £2 Click here

First off, before even mentioning the scent I LOVE this melt as it helps to support 'The Pink Ribbon Foundation'. It is so nice to see companies like Flamingo Candles help raising money for charities, however the scent... I am a new lover to this melt, it has so much burst of fruity raspberries reminding me of being in a fruit store. It's fresh clean yummy scent is fairly strong and reminds me juice or smoothies you get of the raspberry flavor!

Bubblegum ; £2 Click here

Again, this is a new lover of mine! It's sweet sugary scent reminds me of the smell you get when you walk into a candy store, it's fruity flavor just makes you all excited!

Thunderstorm ; £2 Click here

This melt has a very outdoor like scent, it reminds me of the forest almost.. It has a very "wood" scent that reminds me of green tree areas, I will be 100% honest it isn't my up most favorite but is very perfect for warm lunch hours or perfect to burn while cooking / preparing food!

Nutmeg & Ginger - Melt Crow Exclusive

When I first heard the name of this melt, I got all excited because theses type of scents get me in the moody for winter seasons by the fireplace, and for the cold winter evenings. I am shamed that this will only be an exclusive for us members because the smell is PERFECT for this season, and probably for any cold wintry months ahead of us! The scent has a strong hint of ginger but twists and smooths in the air for awhile afterwards!

Pomegranate & White Fig ; £2 Click here

This melt is very floral scented, it reminds me a lot of soft fruity flowers with a pinch of blackcurrant twisting the delicate smell. This is my favorite although the scent isn't hugely strong it is very different and makes it more unique to itself.

Golden Woodlands ;

This melt is another which reminds me of the outdoors forest, with a wood likely scent twisting it with a fresh clean smell. It would be great to burn in warm afternoons or possibly in the evenings with a warm cup of hot chocolate!

Hey guys! I first off wanner say sorry for the lack of being a daily blogger my life has been super busy the past two weeks as it's been my birthday but i'l be back on track shortly! As it's the start of August my monthly subscription from Flamingo Candles arrived in the post yesterday and I was so excited to see what I got! If you didn't already know I subscribed to this last month which you can read here.

1. Strawberries & Champagne - £2 click here
I love this melt, that much I have already reviewed this over on my blog which you can here to read. All I can really say again is that the scent is beyond strong and so perfect and fresh!

2. Fresh Cotton - Melt Crowd Exclusive
At first when I saw the name of this melt It reminded me of Yankee Candles "Clean Cotton", but somehow they smell completely different but have similarities?!

3. Ginger & Lime -
Although this does have "ginger" in the name, the Lime scent is more overpowering which I personally love and is in the top favorites of mine! The lime is more of a clear, outdoor like and not the citrus type! But a hint of ginger passes through often when trying to smell the melt.

4. CIRCUS Doughnuts - Melt Crowd Preview
This melt is beyond my new FAVORITE honestly, not just out of all of the Flamingo Candle's scents but even from Yankee Candles! This scent is so perfect, its very sugary, sweet, reminding me of candy and 100% like warm doughnuts! It just smells so yummy I am so excited for this scent words can't describe!

5. Green Apples - £2 Click here
I must be honest this is probably my least favorite out of this set (and most likely the only one). The scent isn't 100% strong, it doesn't particularly remind me of apples it just reminds me of outdoors and fresh clear scents if that makes any sense!

6. Kir Royal - £2 Click here
This melt reminds me somewhat of cocktails, and outdoor drinks you would have at parties or BBQ's. The scent holds a light smell of fresh, outdoor "leaf like" scent which is very relaxing and perfect for the hot restless nights!

7. Pomegrante Cider - £2 Click here
This melt is very fresh, it reminds me a lot like oranges and a hint of fruity raspberry, I would say the scent is averagely strong but not too over powering. Its really fresh and just smells so tasty!

8. Dahila - Melt Crowd Exclusive
This scent reminds me of roses, strawberries and fresh fruity outdoors. The scent is very light and not too overpowering, just perfect!

Overall, I have to say this August box is by far more of a favorite than the July box, I love ALL the scents and only the Green Apples is one which I would say I wasn't a huge fan of, but out of 8 I think its pretty good! I would have to rate CIRCUS Doughnuts by far, I still can't get over the scent and how it has ranked highest out of all my favorite candles from ALL brands I've used! Flamingo Candles | August Box

Hey guys! I first off wanner say sorry for the lack of being a daily blogger my life has been super busy the past two weeks as it's been...

Hey guys! So I recently wrote about two Flamingo Wax Melts I purchased (read here), after falling in love my mum decided to subscribe to the monthly subscription on behalf of me! (Which i'm super grateful for!) As new subscribers you receive a FREE wax melt holder with your first order and everything arrived yesterday!

It all came in a big cardboard box with "Frigle" tape, at first I was shocked by the size of the box, once I unwrapped it it was full of polystyrene type things.. (Not sure of the name haha!) It had a white box under them which had this beautiful wax melt holder! A small card which had details about the melts in July's box, and then a small cardboard box which had blue tissue paper (Super cute!) which unwrapped to a bag with the Melts sticker on it!

The cute black and white stripe bag reminded me of being in a candy shop, getting your pix'n'mix! I had to honestly admit the scents are SOOO strong, I could smell such refreshing and fruity scents as soon as I opened the big cardboard box. Inside it had the 8 wax melts for July.

So lets begin with the melts in this box!

1. Raspberry & Salted Caramel
This melt is so strong! You instantly smell the raspberry but it twists itself instantly with a Salted Caramel infusion, this is one of my new favorites it's so sugary and sweet I just love it! Click here to view

2. Cucumber & Melon
I must admit I am not a huge fan of this melt, unfortunately it's strongly scented of Cucumber personally I can't seem to get any smell of the Melon as the Cucumber is so strong. Plus I am not a fan of Cucumber anyway, although this scent is very refreshing and perfect for hot summer days I think this would help relax and feel fresh! Click here to view

3. Mojito
Oh my! This melt reminds me so much of what you expect a Mojito to smell like! It has a very strong scent of mint leafs which has a very citrus twist, i'm yet to decide if I like this scent or not... But it's very strong and again refreshing for hot days! Click here to view

4. Green Tomato Leaf - EXCLUSIVE
This melt is exclusive to only Melt Crow subscribers, unfortunately you won't be able to purchase this (Unless Flamingo Candles release later on in the year!). The scent is very fresh, reminding me of being in a green house or the garden. You can easily smell the "leaf" like scent but with a hint of tomato's twist it is very noticeable and refreshing.

5. Lemon Curd
I have found my new favorite! I would of honestly never thought I would love this melt but I really have fallen for it! It has such a strong lemon scent but its twisted into a sugary fresh smell making me feel all excited every time! Click here to view

6. Oriental Lotus & Rose Otto
This melt has a very floral scent to it, personally you can smell the rose a lot more! It's very light scented almost feeling warming to a relaxing evening, I can honestly say this is another favorite of mine! I just love it, plus the scent isn't too over powering its just perfect! 7. Pink Lemonade
I have to say this a top favorite, it's so "refreshing" as I keep saying but all these are perfect for hot summer days. This melt reminds me of roses and fizzy sugary drinks, the scent is powerful and strong but smells so perfect! Click here to view

8. Island Breeze - EXCLUSIVE
I love love love love this smell, its so fresh and clean scented. I have to honestly say this is in my top favorites, I'm just so gutted that its exclusive only I hope they will sell this soon on the site because I have truly fallen in love with this!

Overall, this is my first subscription with Flamingo Candles and I have to honestly say 100% I am impressed. Not only with the packaging, but how perfect the scents are and just how much of a good deal this is!!! If you haven't yet click here to find out more about the subscription deal.

Flamingo Candle | July Box

Hey guys, so I recently subscribed to the Glamour Magazine (They have various offers/deals available). When I subscribed it was an amazing £1 for three months issues + these amazing hair care products from TIGI. After paying it was about a week and they arrived packaged perfect and huge huge HUGE 250ml size bottles!

I decided I wanted to use these a few times before writing about them, at first when I used the Shampoo (After wetting / damping my hair) it was like a very light peachy colour, smelling so strong of PEACHES! It was so fruity and summery I was very excited, after I rinsed it out I then placed the conditioner which is a white liquid. It again had a summer fruity scent to it... I have been using this for about two weeks I must admit although these are generally pricey to buy they are 100% worth it. I usually wash my hair every other day, but with these I find my hair is perfect and doesn't need a wash till about 4 days later.... I've not had any issues with this such as greasy, dandruff etc... It has been fine and just a pleasure to use! Plus because the bottles are huge, I know this will last a good while! :-)
