Hey guys! So over the Christmas period (which seems so far away already) I was given this gorgeous 7 piece bare minerals collection set as a gift off my mum. I want to start by saying how much I love this set, purely because all the products are items I would use for an everyday makeup look. Plus they are all in a limited edition packaging / each product lid is unique compared to the usual bare minerals foundation lid etc... A perfect starter kit to an everyday look a girl could ask for selling at £57 + P&P on QVC here.
So whats included?

1. Original SPF Foundation 8g - RRP £26, Click here to view product online.
Now I already use this foundation and I purely love it! It gives a good coverage even with breakouts or blemishes, or even red skin... It never makes my skin get irritated, breakout more or even get more dry/oily. Plus you only need a small amount in the lid to complete your whole face look! (For reference, I got the colour fairly light N10 as I'm porcelain pale!)

2. Chandelight Glow Illuminator 10g - Limited edition
I must admit, I have fallen for this product its more like a rouge gel type and comes in a large size compact with a mirror inside! It's pinky tone is easy to apply on the apples of your cheeks with brush or finger! And looks 100% natural and not too heavy or dark (which makes me love it the most!), plus with the product like a gel it can easily be applied on your eyelids for matching makeup finish which I just love even more! I can honestly say I would 100% invest in this product again.

3. Loose Blush 0.85g (Sweet Romance) - RRP £20, Click here to view product online.
With most blushes, this is a powdered one and is a very good average size tub! There isn't too much I can honestly say about this product as I much prefer using the illuminator but is easy to apply and another blush to add to my collection!

4. Loose Eye Colour (Nightfall) - Limited edition
Now when I first saw this product, I was slightly worried by the size I honestly did expect it to be a large tub with more product... The colour is very dark glitter toned but I can honestly say it shocked me! I used the smallest amount on my brush (without even using an eye primer), and it applied all over my lid with good coverage and colour! It's perfect for winter looks or even for nights out!

5. Lasting Line Long-Wearing Eyeliner 0.35g (Forever Brandy) - RRP £15, Click here to view product online.
This liner is so easy to use its crazy! The main factor I love about this is that you can draw a fine thin dramatic line.. Or use the angled smudge tip on the other side to blend out and get a smoother more lighter finish..

6. Lash Domination Mascara 11m - RRP £18, Click here to view product online.
At first when I saw this product I was unsure what to expect... The tube itself was pretty thick and wide, when I saw the brush with a twisted and unusual looking tip (first I have ever seen with this style) I knew it would instantly not get thick and blotch up. When I applied I instantly didn't have to worry about my lashes sticking together, too thick for one area.. It applied easily, and evenly! With a very natural thin finish (I love using this when I'm just running out to a local store or somewhere with a light weight finish look).

7. Marvelous Moxie Buttercream Lipgloss 4.5ml (Sassy Sobert) - RRP £16, Click here to view the product online.
If you guys didn't already know, I'm a huge lover for bare minerals lip glosses they just make me feel complete! The thing I love most about this one is it's smooth soft texture that instantly hydrates my lips making them feel tasty. The colour itself is more of a darker pink and just fits perfectly with pinky colours! A huge lover for this product and would 10000% rebuy this when I run out!

Overall I love this collection, all the colours go perfect together and its all the required elements a girl would need for a perfect everyday look. My most favorite would be either the foundation, Illuminator or lipgloss! Let me know if any of you use bare minerals products & what your thoughts are below?X

So I thought I would do a favorites post based on what brushes I currently use, it isn't many as you would expect! Why? Because I apply liquid foundations, liquid concealers and primers all with my index finger as I have very sensitive skin. So these brushes are some what very special to me!

The first brush is what I use for powders, whether it be for foundations or powder I use my bare minerals "flawless face" mini brush. This came with a kit from QVC, although it is small it is perfect, the brush is soft and applies easy to my skin, it doesn't irritate or cause me to break out. I would defiantly consider buying more bare minerals brushes.

The next favorite brush is my angled brush from AVON, I like this brush because the angle just seems to work so good with my face, I make a duck style face while contouring under my cheek bone, this applies the product easy you only need a little bronzer and it applies a large amount!

My next favorite is from Bobbi Brown, this brush is the "Face Blender" brush, i'm not 100% sure if this is suppose to be used for blush or not, but I found if I apply some blush it blends really well when I have contoured. I like it because it blends well, it doesn't irritate my skin and is just a great size!

And finally, my bare minerals "buffing eye" brush is perfect for eye shadow. Why? Because it is easy to blend two colors but it works great if you are applying just one colour, the size of the brush tip is perfect sizing for an eyelid.

This lipgloss was bought in part of a QVC set, and I must admit this is bar far one off my favorite lip glosses I have tried so far. This is because not only the colour but when you apply this to your lips it gives a "plumping" sensation,  making your lips feel like they have enlarged twice there size! The colour is similar to a clear glossy but it has a tint of peach making your lips look a light pinky colour which has a gloss of shimmer! The brush is angled at a slant making it easy for you to apply this product into the corners of your lips, it is just perfect all round I have not found a lipgloss which I love as much as this, I am defiantly going to invest in more colours of this product!

You can buy this product off the Bare Minerals website for £16.00 in various colours!:

This foundation was bought in part of a Bare minerals QVC set, at first I was unsure of the thought of using a powder foundation. Simply because I was unsure of the amount of coverage, the chance of over-using and running out of the product faster, it drying my skin up, how long it would last and simply it it "worked as a foundation". HOWEVER! I apply this product after my primer, BB cream etc and I find this does work really well! It looks extremely natural, the colour is perfect for my porcelain skin - I find it gives me a little colour but looks natural. I haven't found it dries my skin up (lots), although I notice on certain areas such as my nose and under my eyes my skin has become somewhat dry so I generally apply a little more moisture in those areas before my routine begins!

APPLICATION: So I tip a small amount of this product into the lid, and use my foundation brush (which came with the set off Bare minerals) and swirl it around inside the lid until the product is applied to the brush, I then use a brushing/swirling motion on my face, I find if I blend it for longer I get more colour/coverage. The product doesn't give a "huge" amount of coverage and I find I generally apply BB cream first making the powder glide on easily and helps with colour & use concealer for under my eyes, nose and acne/spot areas which need extra coverage. I prefer to use this foundation for warm days especially for summer it will be perfect as it is light weight, although I must admit this foundation does generally need a quick top up throughout the day if you like to keep your makeup in line and perfect for the whole day!
This product was bought in a QVC set from Bare Minerals, this is a powder blush in the colour "glamour". To apply this product I simply dab a small amount into the lid and then use a brush to mix and apply to the apples of my cheeks and blend outwards.

This product was bought as part of a QVC set off Bare Minerals, this is a size of 1.5g. At first you look at the size and think it is too small, but you don't use much of the product. You use this as a light translucent powder, it has a shimmer glitter in the product which shows up in different lights.

I apply a small amount of this product into the lid and then using a brush I mix and dab across my whole face very lightly, I like to use this product as I feel it does lighten the colour of my foundation and sets it perfect.
This blush is a powder type from Bare Minerals, the colour of this product is love radiance a light burgundy pink type. (My favorite) This did come with a top to cover the holes where you can sprinkle out the product but stupidly I broke it off and forgot to replace! I apply this product by slowly dabbing a small amount into the lid and using my brush I mix it around in the lid then once the product has applied. I make a smile face and begin to lightly dab across the apples of my cheeks and blending downwards. This colour is very very VERY very natural like, it does have a small shimmer glitter affect which I love about the product!

BareMineral's Flawless " mini brush "

This brush came as part of a set from QVC, although this is a " mini " and half the size of the original brush it's a great way to experience the brush before paying full price.

Size? It's about the same size as my palm (finger tip - bottom of palm), the fibers are perfect on this brush, none fall out and they are perfect (not sticking out). The fibers are super soft, and when you apply to the face it feels smooth, I have super sensitive skin and usually apply my makeup by fingertip to prevent irritation. Yet with this brush I've not had any issues!! I will defiantly consider purchasing full size product..
