Powder VS Liquid Foundation

So everyone questions powder or liquid foundation? Well this year I've been switching between the two a lot! First of I always assumed powder foundations wouldn't last long, they would give poor coverage and go patchy... Boy was I wrong.

Powder -
This year I've used various powder foundations, my FAVORITE is Bare Minerals just because you need so little for a large amount of coverage and it's colour is a perfect match, plus it looks flawless when you apply... My second favorite is Mally (QVC), I love the colour of this product although it looks a little orange in the tub when applied it goes on great and is perfect if you need a fast makeup look or for everyday use (Especially for university!). Then, finally Laura Geller which I found colour wise is perfect but isn't great for coverage & use this powder foundation as a powder product over the top of my liquid foundations....
I find with powder foundations you are best to use a good strong primer (My favorite is the Laura Geller Spackle with powder foundations)... Because it has a sticky base I find the powder applies instantly and lasts all day!

Liquid -
Now liquid foundations have always been my favorite, purely because you can build up coverage instantly! Over the years I've used various brands but the two I decided to point out was first off Clinique.. I have only recently started using this product but I love it, the coverage is great, it's perfect for my skin and hasn't made me breakout + the only downside is that the colour is sometimes a little too "dark" for me but I always tone it down with a lighter powder... Then the other product I wanted to mention was MAC, now MAC has always been bad for my skin, not sure why but I 100% always breakout and get extremely oily. BUT with that being said MAC colour matching is PERFECT I am super porcelain skin type and this colour is extremely light just perfect and the 1 reason why I am obsessed with it even when it's bad for my skin!

Let me know in the comments what you're thoughts is on these products, and which do you prefer... Liquid or Powder?X
