So everyone questions powder or liquid foundation? Well this year I've been switching between the two a lot! First of I always assumed powder foundations wouldn't last long, they would give poor coverage and go patchy... Boy was I wrong.

Powder -
This year I've used various powder foundations, my FAVORITE is Bare Minerals just because you need so little for a large amount of coverage and it's colour is a perfect match, plus it looks flawless when you apply... My second favorite is Mally (QVC), I love the colour of this product although it looks a little orange in the tub when applied it goes on great and is perfect if you need a fast makeup look or for everyday use (Especially for university!). Then, finally Laura Geller which I found colour wise is perfect but isn't great for coverage & use this powder foundation as a powder product over the top of my liquid foundations....
I find with powder foundations you are best to use a good strong primer (My favorite is the Laura Geller Spackle with powder foundations)... Because it has a sticky base I find the powder applies instantly and lasts all day!

Liquid -
Now liquid foundations have always been my favorite, purely because you can build up coverage instantly! Over the years I've used various brands but the two I decided to point out was first off Clinique.. I have only recently started using this product but I love it, the coverage is great, it's perfect for my skin and hasn't made me breakout + the only downside is that the colour is sometimes a little too "dark" for me but I always tone it down with a lighter powder... Then the other product I wanted to mention was MAC, now MAC has always been bad for my skin, not sure why but I 100% always breakout and get extremely oily. BUT with that being said MAC colour matching is PERFECT I am super porcelain skin type and this colour is extremely light just perfect and the 1 reason why I am obsessed with it even when it's bad for my skin!

Let me know in the comments what you're thoughts is on these products, and which do you prefer... Liquid or Powder?X
This nail varnish was bought from a MAC counter in stores, I bought this because it looked nude like, very natural and perfect for simple days. When I bought this it was packaged perfect, like MAC product is comes in a glass bottle following the similarity style as how there foundation is stored.

I suggest when you use this product, or any nail varnish you always give it a good shake first. The colour has a matte look with a quirky shine, the brush is simple. Nothing special. Once I applied to my nails I noticed it gave full coverage, I wouldn't say you need more than one coat of this product! I find after a few days the colour does begin to chip away so I would recommend applying a clear coat over the top for protection.

And of course! Don't forget once you've finished with a MAC product & the container is empty keep it aside and safe then once you get six product containers you can return to MAC & get a FREE lip stick! Xo

This eye-shadow was purchased off MAC I think sometime last year, the packaging of this product is simple yet stylish! I personally picked this colour as I went through a stage of obsessing with greens, I like to wear this shadow colour with outfits for spring or sometimes for clubbing depending on outfits (If I was wearing the green colour then I would probably use this shadow colour!). It also works well when mixing this shadow colour with others such as a silver or bronze which I enjoy to do a lot!

Although the colour of this product looks bright when you apply this to your eyelids it isn't as vibrant, it is more of a light colour which has a shimmer of glitter!

This MAC studio fix foundation is a favorite but hate of mine... I love the product as of recent MAC have gotten perfect matches for skin tones, this is great colour for those who have porcelain skin. The shade I use is NW10, the lightest available at MAC.

So, the reason why I love this product is because the colour is a perfect match, but it is easy to build coverage. When I wear this product it gives maximum coverage and does last all day (if you use a good primer), however.... I do have oily/sensitive skin and this foundation does irritate my skin if I constantly wear the product. By that I mean if I wear this product as a daily foundation, after about a week I notice my skin breaking out, and looking dull. I find the also makes my skin look shiny and oily once applied, but I usually tone that down by adding a bit of powder foundation over the top then applying my powder over the top of that.

The product can be bought at MAC counters in stores or online for £21.50 here: http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/shaded/158/1231/Products/Face/Foundation/Studio-Fix-Fluid-SPF-15/index.tmpl

Do remember, this product requires a foundation pump which costs £4 and again can be bought online or at store: http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/135/833/Products/Kit-Essentials/Tools/Foundation-Pump/index.tmpl

I suggest you keep the foundation pump, once you've finished clean it out and re-use! Plus once you've finished with your MAC product and it is empty keep it safe and once you reach six empty containers you can send back to MAC and receive a FREE lipstick.
