So on Bank Holiday (which seems so far away) I took a bit of a shopping trip, and of course I had to stop off in my local Yankee Candle store. They had a surprising 20% off everything offer on only for the Bank Holiday. (excluding any current offers they had on) The first lot I picked up was x10 wax melts 'Home Sweet Home', these are one of my favorite Winter scents because I love the cinnamon twist and spices smell. You are probably thinking x10 is a lot, but they had an amazing offer on where you pick x10 wax melts (from a selection of four different scents I think, they was all Christmas/Winter themed) for only £5! That's literally 50p per wax melt which is AMAZING! I then picked up a car air-freshener in the jar style, scent 'Vanilla cupcake' because of course this is my all time favorite scent, and I received 20% off the original price for this.

I then bought a giant pack of tealight candles (which I only bought because of the 20% off), I also bought x1 each of the new wax melts "spring" scents - Of which the Olive & Thyme scent is AMAZING and I highly recommend it. I also bought a new melt burner, I picked the all black one because black goes with most colours, plus it's melt holder is a lot taller making it less likely to have an over-spill of wax, easier to clean and maintain. And finally I bought a three pack of car air-fresheners in 'Vanilla cupcake' as a supply stock up with the discount offer being available!

I know this post was only short, but I just wanted to share my amazing offers I got with the surprise discount and I would recommend visiting any local stores you might have nearby because I know the one in Chester had a lot of offers on, with exclusive large jars, and buy any two medium jars for £30 etc! Thank you for reading! X

Yankee Candle Haul

So on Bank Holiday (which seems so far away) I took a bit of a shopping trip, and of course I had to stop off in my local Yankee Candle stor...
Hey guys! As Easter is moving closer and closer towards us I managed to get my hands on the new Yankee Candle 3 melt egg gift set retailing at £7.99 (click here to view online). It's a small plastic egg with Yankee logo text & jelly beans with a cute ribbon at the top with a tag attached giving info on the three melts inside.

It slides apart in half with three melts inside including; with each melt burning up to 8 hours!

1. Jelly Bean
I love this scent, after purchasing the large jar last year I was super excited to see this in a melt form! It's bursting smell is full of sugary sweet candy like scents, the only down side is I'm super disappointed you can't buy this separate. The only size available separate and not in a gift set is a large jar for £21.99 (click here to view online).

2. Summer Scoop
This melt retails for £1.49 in store (click here to view online), another tasty scent full of sugary fresh strawberry smells. It does live up to the name in regards to scents, one that gets me hungry for sure!

3. Cappuccino Truffle
And again, this melt currently retails for £1.49 in store (click here to view online). It's scent is very chocolate flavored packed with the smell of strong dark coffee! One of my favorite delicious scents from Yankee!

Overall I am slightly disappointed with the product, as two of the melts retail together at £2.98 meaning the rest of the price (£5.01) was funded on the jelly bean melt (which I do understand is rare & exclusive) plus the egg packaging... Slightly overpriced in my opinion.. I would of much rather receive two limited edition exclusive melts (which I have noticed Yankee's site state you receive Bunny Cake as well as Jelly Bean, I have contacted them to query this as it seems unfair!). Thank you for reading, let me know your thoughts?X
Hey guys, as you probably are already aware I'm a huge lover for candles & burning scents so decided to include all the ways I store my collection! First off I would like to say I always keep two candle jars out and on display (usually one for my bedroom and one for the living-room!).

For my wax melts (mainly all the ones from Flamingo Candles), I store in an empty clean large jar from Yankee Candle. The rest, I organize into a small glitter rectangle box which I received as a gift set off Yankee Candle. I also have a large circular box from the Yankee Candles mother day collection from last year, inside this I store majority of my smaller sized products. Inside I currently have one medium size jar, two easy meltcup's (placed on top of each other). My Yankee easter egg with the three melts inside, and then in the space around I place votives.

I then have a Lush Christmas Gift Set empty box that I use to store my larger candle products, this includes a large jar candle (Christmas Cookie). Another empty clean large jar which I have storing my Yankee Candle tea lights from the Christmas Calendar, a small jar (as there wasn't much space left inside). And a small pillar candle jar where I then place a small cosmetic bag ontop which includes the products I expect to use next. Inside the bag I currently have a few tea lights I expect to use over the upcoming days a votive and a wax melt.

Let me know in the comments below what you use to store products? & Don't forget to follow my blog over on the home page! X
I recently received a few gifts over my birthday which where of course Yankee Candle jars! A duo which has recently been added to QVC and is currently £33.50 for two large jars. (Which is an amazing bargain considering large jars retail at £21.99 each!)

The new candle which I have never smelt until now is the Vanilla Lime, its a green colour wax. The scent is fresh yet sugary I must admit I am in love, you can smell the sugary Vanilla but it twists with a fresh clean creamy lime scent. As for the Vanilla Cupcake we all know this is my favorite favorite candle scent from any company and have already reviewed it over on my blog here.Click here to view the product on QVC where I bought off! (P.S Sorry I forgot to take pictures of these products until I realized I already used half the Vanilla Lime!)X

Thank you for reading, let me know in the comments what you're favorite Yankee Candle is!X
So recently over on QVC they had a Christmas special where they was offering two tea light candle Advent Calendars. The first Calendar has the sweet sugary scented candles including ; Snowflake Cookie, Icicles, Angles Wings, Winter Glow, Christmas Cookie & Sparking Snow.
Where as the second one is a lot more traditional "Christmas" scents including; Cosy By The Fire, Berry Trifle, Bundle Up, Sparkling Cinnamon, Christmas Memories & Christmas Garland.

Both of these calendars have 24 days worth of candles inside! Be sure to follow me over on Instagram / Twitter to keep track of whats under each door every day! X
So I was recently shopping in my local city and had to stop off at the Yankee Candle store, first off I was excited because they have now stocked up Christmas candles! They also had Christmas Calendars and sets etc.. Among the new exciting products they also had Halloween products and new sugary sweet candles!

I decided to pick these two votive's up to see if I like the scent when burning before buying full jar sizes! (I highly recommend you buy/try votive before buying the full jar size in case you don't like it, then you aren't wasting a lot of money)

Vanilla Bourbon - This is a new favorite of mine, the vanilla scent is strong but overpowered by a salty caramel like smell. Its very sugary and sweet and just smells so tasty!

Gingerbread Maple - This votive has a strong scent of Ginger but is twisted with a sugary coat of what reminds me of warm cookies..

Thank you for reading! & Sorry this is sort I've been having lots on in real life, be sure to check back Wednesday for a new post + follow my blog over on the home page!X
So I recently did another "Swap" over on my Depop account for some items in return I got this Yankee Candle along with a few other stuff. Now if I am honest I was unsure if I would like the scent of this but my mum insisted I would love it... When it arrived (Small Jar) I couldn't help but fall in love with how small and cute the jar was, it was soooo adorable looking and fell into place on my dressing table.

The scent is very clean and fresh almost reminding me of new bedding sheets you get from a store! I have honestly fallen in love with this scent purely because its so fresh it will fit perfect for any weather or feeling and is just so relaxing!

Click here to buy on the Yankee Candle store(£8.99).

(Please excuse the quality of some of the pictures I was testing out a new feature and didn't realized how bad it was, sorry!) Don't forget to follow my blog over on the home page X
Hey guys! As you know I am a huge lover of Yankee Candles, I recently got this one as a swap over on my Depop! I was so excited because I have never tried this scent before and since my all time favorite is Vanilla Cupcake I thought I would just fall in love with this one? I think its because the picture looks so sugary and tasty!

When it arrived I was rather shocked by the scent, it isn't at all what I thought it would be like... It does have a scent of strawberries to it but it is over whelmed by the smell of the buttercream. Usually I think of buttercream being all buttery, and sugary but this scent has very less sugary feel to it and almost like dull smell. It's very hard to explain but I have to honestly say this is one of my least favorites I was very shocked!

So it's July, the perfect summery month and of course the month of my Birthday! ;) So I thought I would do a favorites post, as I haven't wrote one of these in a while. I have tried to include various products throughout!

To begin with, the Fireside Treats Yankee Candle which is sooo sugary and sweet scented I just love. I am a huge lover for all scents like this, no matter what time of the year it is! Then of course, my favorite primer? Well the Laura Geller Tinted Spackle, I love this because it not only holds my makeup in place literally ALL day but it is tinted too and looks perfect on its own, which I think is a huge bonus for the summer season! Then, foundations? Well, my all time favorite for summer or for a lightweight foundation is the Bare Minerals Original foundation. I apply this and it instantly gives me a lift of colour but it provides a good coverage which I think is more than suitable for the summer period in hot weathers.

But for the evenings or even for "clubbing" I always like to go for a liquid foundation, my newest favorite is the Clinique it provides good coverage but the colour is also perfect and it hasn't irritated my skin in any way! Plus a little tip for you guys, If I have a special occasion and want maximum coverage I use both Clinique and Bare Minerals foundations and it looks absolutely flawless! And finally, body butter! Since it has been very warm the past few weeks I find after a nice shower or bath applying body butter to my skin (Usually my arms) it feels so smoothing and the scent just relaxes me that little more! Plus I find it does help to soften my skin :-)

July Favorites!

by on 09:00
So it's July, the perfect summery month and of course the month of my Birthday! ;) So I thought I would do a favorites post, as I haven...
Hey guys! So have you ever had empty jars off a product and feel like its a waste of binning them? Well STOP! I recently discovered some bloggers who reuse jars with some awesome methods, I just had to try it myself!
I had a large jar of the Yankee Candle Jelly Bean it came towards the end (where the wick wouldn't burn no more / struggled to light it, so I placed the jar into my freezer for about 2-3 hours (WITHOUT the lid on!). When I removed it the wax at the bottom had frozen solid and was freely moving around, I used a sharp knife (PLEASE BE CAREFUL - GET AN ADULT TO HELP / SUPERVISE!) and dabbed it a few times to crack the wax (You could try banging the jar but be-careful it doesn't smash). Then tip the jar upside down to let the wax freely remove, keep hold of the empty wax (let it unfreeze) then you can reuse as a melt in a candle wax burner, this works perfect because Yankee Candles are such strong scented this lasted a good few hours for about 4 days!

Then, wash the jar out thoroughly until it is completely clean - don't forget to clean out the lid too! Then you have a clean empty Yankee Candle Jar!

So, I was going to use it to store makeup brushes but I recently purchased a new jar holder for them... So I thought I'd try something a little more creative. I used some purple gem stones purchased from IKEA to fill the jar then place some votive's / melts in the top as a statement piece for my desk!

I've saw others use the jars to store sweets, candy, pencils, lip glosses etc... Comment below if you've tried anything yet? I'd love to see, I have a few more jars I need to be creative with! Xo

Hey guys! So two weeks ago QVC (UK) had some amazing offers over on there Yankee Candle Show, I couldn't help but resist purchasing some new candles to add to the collection!
I found this amazing set of three Large Jars for £43.50 (They usually retail for £20 each!!!) The first candle which i'm very common with is;

  1. Home Sweet Home Large Jar - This is a favorite of mine, it has a hint of cinnamon with spices blended it. It almost reminds me of the outdoors, fresh forest which is overgrown with oak wood and trees. It is just perfect and makes me exited for Christmas with it's winter feel!
  2. Cinnamon Stick Large Jar - This candle has an extremely strong scent of cinnamon burst out, it is 100% very winter like reminding me of sitting in warm blankets with a cup of hot coco!
  3. Fireside Treats Large Jar - I have never experienced this candle before, and was very exicted to try it out! When it arrived the first scent I got was super super sweet and candy like, reminding me instantly of the scent you get when you open a bag of marshmallows! I can honestly say I have fallen in love with this candle, it is my 2nd favorite (First being Vanilla Cupcake) I just love the sweet scent!
Overall, I'm super happy with this offer QVC had for us! It is still avalible on there site, let me know what your favorite Yankee Candle is? :-)

This set was given as a gift (Which I LOOOOOVE and am so grateful!), this is the first time I've tried the simply home collection not sure why its took me this long. In the collection there is x6 different candles, out of all of them I must say a favorite (And a new top favorite) is the Sweet Vanilla. As you might be aware I have a super sweet tooth for everything, the scent of this is extremely strong this votive filled my whole livingroom full!

Overall this collection is perfect for trying out the Simply Home collection and i'm so glad I've managed to try them out! I will be investing in the future for these, have you guys tried them? Opinions? Leave in the comments below :-) Xo
So I've recently come across an App for your mobile phone called " Depop ", it's where you can buy & sell products; used or new! I came across this amazing set for £10 on there and just couldn't let it slide! First off this an amazing value as each votive is £1.80, in the set you get x6 different candles and then x2 of each giving a total of x12!

Hey guys! So today I thought I would create a short post, my favorite Yankee Candle! The Vanilla Cupcake, I love this because it smells so sweet and yummy! I originally bought the votive size of this product which lasted about 4 times (lighting / blowing out after about 4 hours). I then got the large jar! Its scent is even more stronger, it fills the room so fast and you can smell it outside of the room!!!

Question to you guys: Once the jar is empty (You freeze it to get the wax out), what do you do with the jars? I want to do something creative with them, maybe use them to store some sort of product? Or make it into a varse with sand and flowers etc? Let me know in the comments if you've done anything creative!

Yankee - " Green Grass "

This candle was bought in a spring collection as part of the mothers day gift set, this candle is "rare" and not sold in many places. It smells fresh like a summer day, the smell is strong when you smell up close and is a favorite smell (I like it)! :-)

Yankee - "Meadow Showers"

Again, this candle was part of the QVC spring collection from the mothers day gift set. The candle is a green color, which scent is strong! It reminds me of the outdoors in fresh green-land area, a very spring smell which is perfect for the season!

Yankee - " Early Sunrise "

This candle was part of the spring collection off the mothers day gift set from QVC. The candle is an usual dull white color almost like a light blue (Reminds me of when you was a white top and a pair of dark jeans runs into it). The scent isn't strong and hard to get a good idea of what the smell is like, all I can say is it smells clear and fresh.

Yankee - " Fresh mint "

This candle again, was part of a spring collection off the mothers day gift set from QVC. The scent isn't very strong I must say, however it does remind me of what fresh mint does smell like. Very minty, and I will say this isn't the most favorite smell of mine.

Yankee - "White Garden"

This candle again, was purchased off QVC's website for the spring collection as part of the mothers day gift set. This candle is a white color and smells very Winter like, gives me a feel of Christmas, it a very icy smell. The scent is strong and can be noticed very easily!

Yankee - " Champaca Blossom "

This candle was purchased again, as part of the QVC spring collection for mothers day gift set. The color is very "nude" like, it's smell is unusual like a fruit floral which is fresh and vibrant. I would say the smell isn't 100% strong, you have to take a big "sniff" in order to get a good smell of the scent.

This candle is currently available to buy off the official Yankee website the votive size is £1.80, but they also have this candle available in sizes / types of candle's Yankee offer check here: http://tinyurl.com/ovdswwe
