River Island handbag - " Monochrome "

This bag was bought from the River Island shop in Prestatyn, North Wales. This bag was amazingly on sale for £25, and I simply could not leave it there!

To begin with, the color is amazing at the moment I have a major obsession for dressing in monochrome so this bag fits perfectly with my clothes. However, this bag is on the large side of things, and wouldn't be suitable for me to carry around if I was just nipping out to a store for something. Therefore, I've decided to use this bag for university as it is perfect to fit my folders, and all the necessary items :-) But I have also decided I will use this bag for days out such as big shopping trips etc as I can fit all stuff which I normally would take for a long day out such as makeup, hair brush, purse etc...

The back of this bag is plain black, it is somewhat like a velvet material and when you face it into the light is has a small pattern which splits the back into 4 squares in an usual pattern. The handle at the bag can be lifted up and down as seen in the photo, however the handle at the front is permanently stable upright as the buckle bridge at the front stops it from moving.

This bag does include a satchel strap which can be attached, however I personally think this bag is too big for it. On the inside of the bag it has a zip compartment, and on the other side it has two pockets one smaller and one larger. Perfect for storage, I simply like to contain my lip glosses in the pockets and my phone in the zip one.
